Hampton Inn Debary/Deltona

I need you guys to read this and take immediate action. Saturday, 12/9, you will be able to look-up the employee working the breakfast area. I went down with my 5 year old daughter to eat breakfast. He immediately brought my daughter a toy and stood over us. It was intimidating and inappropriate. As she would start eating, he would say, “you can’t have those fruit loops they are mine.” I tried ignoring him, the red flags continued. I called my mother to come down. He continued to only speak to my daughter and my mom immediately noticed his inappropriate behavior with her. I called my husband downstairs. The employee was trying to talk and “flirt” with my daughter from behind my husband. We got up to leave and he followed us to the coffee area still attempting to engage my daughter. These are serious allegations that we stand behind. This employee could cause harm to a child and cause you publicity you don’t want. For the safety of children going there in the future, please review this employee: check his background, watch his behaviors with children. As for the hotel, it was fine- under construction but the fire pit was lovely.

Bad impression when we pulled up due to two cars parked in the load/unload zone. No one in cars, no one checking in or in the lobby. The desk clerk never got out of her chair while checking us in. She was efficient, not in a wheelchair, we just didn’t deserve her standing up. The chair in our room was so filthy I lined it with our own dirty clothes before allowing my family to sit on it. I would have covered the chair with a towel but there were only 2 towels for my family to use. The bath products provided were wonderful. The public bathroom had feminine hygiene products in it which I thought was great. The breakfast was satisfactory and the young man working worked very hard.

We had requested a room on the first floor through Hotels.com. When we checked in, we were assigned room 320. When we asked why we didn't get a first floor room, we were told that someone already on the first floor probably extended their stay, so no room was available. But a family that checked in after us got a first floor room! Also, the elevator in this hotel needs to be maintained, as it bounces when stopping.

Great check in and always so friendly! When I visit family, I always stay here.

Unfortunately I had a family emergency, in addition the hotel was not in the area I was and although I did call too cancel, the hotel could not accept request. As such, I am request a refund or partial refund of $504 Thank you
