I honestly will miss this place. Stayed here 2 days and felt like family. Jalisa makes the best old-fashioned Ive had in my life and I live in New Orleans

This is a very cute boutique hotel with a few shops, a bar and a restaurant on site. I stayed on a Friday night and there was live music in the lobby which is adjacent to the bar. The hotel in it self was nice and I loved that they kept the 1920s vibes. Definitely a great hotel for couples to stay at. The only negatives that I experienced were there is not an elevator which was hard on my knees to carry my luggage to the second floor, my room's temperature could not be adjusted, and my room did not have a bath mat towel or any cups. But despite all that. I would still stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

The Deland Hotel is mini-oasis. You get to step back in time to a 1920’s style hotel, with original woodwork, furnitures and features throughout the house! The owner welcomes you at the front desk, offers to help with luggage, and welcomes you downstairs to the lounge for refreshments. There is a flavorful Asian restaurant and bar on the premise, the Twisted Chopstick, where you may choose to sit outside overlooking the courtyard. The Deland Hotel also consists of a “family” of clothing boutiques, a hair salon (go see Marcy!), and therapies. It is a few blocks to downtown Deland, with a plethora of delicious food choices, and a few miles away from the springs.
