Comfort Inn Ocala Silver Springs

Bugs in the room. A lady was at the front with a crying baby. Shady people sitting in their car where you check in at for hours on in with the music playing. I think they were there to maybe wash their clothes? I seen a lot of dirty clothes in bags being brought in. Just didn’t feel right.

Frienly staff, helpful information about the area, good breakfast and the only bad thing it was the smell if the room .. but I have thats a common thing now in several hotels, its like a humid smell... but overall good hotel for a quick business trip, I will not choose it for a family vacations.

I will never recommend this hotel to my family and friends very disappointed

Noise from either the guest children or employees children were very noisy

No personality with guests. The dark skin lady was very nice. The breakfast was not good. The bisquits were half cooked on the first morning and the eggs were fake and watery. Its was very dissapointing. The elevators were broken and we had to go up the stairs to the room. The carpet going up the stairs needs to be cleaned. The hallways are loud, the walls are thin. Screaming kid that fell off the bed in the middle of the night. Sunken in mattress. Other than that...it was ok.

I really like the location of this facility since it was near several of the functions we attended over the weekend. However, we could hear conversations, not clearly, in the next room and in the other room, children crying or fussing. It seems that the hotel needs an update. Staff was accommodating and helpful and rooms fairly clean, but to get a higher rating there needs to be some changes. Breakfast was great and service was nice. Thank you.

The lady at the front desk was nice. I spent 3 hours with the kids by the pool and never seen any hotel staff. The majority of the time while at the pool another guest was in a chair drinking beer. I would have spent more time outside but the man began arguing on the telephone using vulgar language. I rushed the kids inside and reported it to the front desk. I later got a call explaining he was a guest at the hotel and he was with a company that was there working. I did not want excuses for him I wanted to know the problem was dealt with. They informed me they checked on him and was getting his coworker to as well. A solution would have been to tell him he was not permitted to be by the pool for the rest of the evening or the police will be called.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for one evening so we could attend a local athletic event the following day. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were accommodating. The free breakfast offered a host of different items (standard hotel breakfast fare). While this trip was brief, I would recommend this site for any business travelers passing through the area.

We arrived late at the hotel after visiting with family at a local funeral home. Staff was friendly and sympathetic. Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Although I had made and paide for a reservation well in advance of my arrival I was assigned a room on the 1st floor, which in this case in below the lobby. I felt as though I was staying in the basement, which essentially I was. The room was also directly across from the hotel's laundry room which was extremely noisy during the early morning hours. I felt like I was treated as a second class citizen. I was visiting family in Ocala and will do so again in the future but I will not stay, nor recommend, this hotel to anyone.
