Red Roof Inn Ocala

We needed a place to rest for the night on the way to southern Florida. I chose this place because it was right off the highway and had 8/10 reviews. I don’t know how. When we were checking in, a man who had rented a room and the front hotel staff were arguing loudly about the condition of his room. This was a red flag, but it was 2 AM and we were traveling with kids, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. The room was disgusting. Whoever ‘cleaned’ it just changed the sheets. The bathroom was was clearly dirty and there was dried toothpaste and God knows what else all over the bathroom counter and the bottom of the shower. The shower water only got lukewarm, so didn’t attempt on showers. The air conditioner barely worked and the entire room felt damp. The TV only has one channel. If it wouldn’t have been the middle of the night we would have left. Wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend.

I tried 3 times to cancel this reservation and no one would answer the phone. I did not stay there as my trip was cancelled due to a death in my family. I would like a refund please and thank you.

The family was clean, the staff was great.

Nice and affordable, family and pet- friendly hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Affordable laundry and dog park available. However parking was tight, mattress had a ‘dip’ and there was not a continental breakfast. Pretty clean, everything was in working order.. Overall a nice and peaceful stay

I didn’t like how rude staff was to me and my family

We had to shorten our stay at the property because of a death in the family and we have been trying since then to get a refund or credit for the days we never used but to no avail. Repeated calls to the property are met with countless excuses.

This was my first time staying at the RedRoof Inn! The price was great for 6 days and 6 nights! It was clean, quiet, and a great staff! Will recommend my family and friends!

We use Red Roof Inn for family trips because they are pet friendly. Staff accommodates us by placing us near the side door which works well for our fuzzy children
