SpringHill Suites by Marriott Navarre Beach

Went to pull sofa bed in the room out and discovered filth but worse of all MOLD! The staff nor manager apologized nor tried to help accommodate my family. We checked out at 11pm and had to good look for a hotel. I got to witness how the staff went out of their way to help ppl of a certain race. I witnessed how the check in employee helped two ladies get a room with a view and all because their room wasn’t available. Wouldn’t work with me to reverse the pre authorization of the almost $1500. I had to get my bank involved, get the money refunded before we travel back to our home town. 10 hrs away. The manager never called me. NEVER AGAIN.

My family chose this hotel as an over night stay on our way through to another destination. We wished we had booked a few more days! Customer service was over the top. Rio really stood out. Rooms were so comfortable and the in house restuarant fantastic. We will definately return.

A good family oriented hotel. The restaurant was a little cheesy. Even with the voucher we we went out to eat.

This is mid-sized hotel with a friendly and intimate atmosphere and all the amenities a family could want. Suitable for both children and adults.

Navarre has long been the destination of choice since I was a kid. So I love that there's a hotel on the island again. However, it falls short in almost every category. It's very expensive for what you get in my opinion. The amenities are limited. Nothing was explained to me at check-in such as elevator key operation, destination fee, security deposit, housekeeping, wifi, etc. The girl handed me the keys told me to swipe my cc and that was it. I didnt even know how much I was being charged. They have a "destination fee" of $25/day that isn't charged until you arrive along with an equal amount of security deposit. After looking it up, I discovered this is an offset to help hotels get some money back they were loosing to Expedia, hotels.com, travel agents and the like. They give you a "voucher" which they marked through all the areas of the hotel where it was accepted, except a bar and grill that after 3 nights we still never even saw! Again, not explained. No housekeeping was done except that we asked for clean towels day 2. They emptied the trash at that time but nothing else was done. They do not clean up around the pool or the rinse/off boardwalk areas outside. The same trash was there all 3 days except what blew away. People are nasty they need to keep the hotel clean!!! Day 3 there was plastic cups, beer cans, wrappers etc all around the pool, getting blown into the pool. The surfaces of the pool were nasty, there are areas starting to rust inside the pool and rooms.

The pool deck is quite slippery when its in use. Our family member fell and we witnessed an older lady fall and others slipping but catching themselves. Not sure how that can be dealt with but it is like walking on ice.

Elevator was broken so we only had access to one which made very hard and busy. The pool was small and not enough space. Hot tub was full w small kids and no room for more ppl. Room was nice and clean but you can hear everything in the hallways not a quiet place to relax … breakfast was delicious and i love the ice cream shop

The location is perfect- right on the beach. And the view from the room was amazing. As we traveled off the season not all hotel amenities were available. Ice cream shop was closed - to our kid disappointment. A/c was difficult to regulate. It started to heat it though set up the room temperature to 71. Fridge didn’t work properly as well. For the bikes it would be good if they have kids options as well.

1st room, AC was broke, was told they were coming to fix it, they didn't. Next day they gave us another room with short notice. Walked in the room was ICE cold, hubby got sick from being so cold, we had to put the heater on, yes the heater till it got to 74 degrees - it was 64 degrees at first - then the room was so noisy from the next door people, heard children running up and dowm the hallway, doors slamming - bad experience - will not be staying there anymore - that was besides the funeral service that was going on during the visit to the hotel lobby to get to the pool -

This hotel is perfectly set on the beach with a great view! It’s so clean and the staff is so nice. Pool was clean and the lazy river was fun! My kids had an absolute blast. Restaurant was very good and so was the ice cream bar! They do charge you 25$ a day so you can spend it anywhere you want which is fine haha. My only complaint is bring your own pillows this were so deflated! Our balcony had a beautiful view of the Bay Area, and we couldn’t have been happier!
