Holiday Inn Express Fort Walton Beach Central, an IHG Hotel

Super easy check in. My room was ready so I was able to check in a little bit early. There is a snack corner right by the front desk with several drink and snack options. It’s kind of tucked in so you really have to be looking for it to see it. The pool is smaller but good if you have small kids. The location is convenient and easy to get in and out of. The room was super clean and and housekeeping came everyday. All in all great stay!

We came to Florida for a family event. Our room was comfortable and clean. No complaints 👍

We booked this hotel just for the indoor pool and spa and drove outta town for Christmas and we couldn’t enjoy our stay . Me and my family were very disappointed and the web site should have stated things were not in working order before people and families make reservations.

Before making a reservation to this hotel,I called and asked was this hotel across from the beach. Well I get there and it is not there is a port there a marina I was taking my family on vacation to the beach not to a port Marina. Well with there being a beach there that's what I was told right across the street I booked the room when I got there I tried to get the booking off the clerk told me that I was the 7th person that had been lied to and he is not been able to fix anybody's bookings. I told them I wanted a refund and I could go somewhere else they told me they could not do that that I would have to pay the whole stay 576.88 if I left that day that I got there so I asked if I stay one night can you refund the other he said yes I paid $288 for one night & was charged 576.88. I had a brand new hat stolen by room service when I brought this up they acted like they couldn't find my hat. One of the worst staffs besides the Hampton Inn by Hilton on Okaloosa Island. I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn never again if I have to worry about my belongings being stolen. If I was not up under so much time I would have just called the police. Very unprofessional Hotel

Always a joy to take my family to the Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast on point as always.

I was hesitant to stay here with my family because of some of the reviews of bed sheets not being changed. I took the chance and glad we did. We took our family and don't have any complaints. Housekeeping was there to service our rooms and brought in clean sheets while we were walking out to go to the beach. It looked like the housekeeping supervisor was with them and they did an amazing job. Rooms looked great after a long day, beds were perfectly made and refreshed. I can't express how great their housekeeping staff was. Breakfast was great, lots of options, from cereal, pancakes, cinnamon rolls,bagels to eggs and sausage. That was a plus for us with traveling with little kids and not having to rush them around to go eat out. Pool was nice to visit. Also, needed more blankets and sheets for the pull out bed and the front desk brought these up for us. I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from because we obviously had a much different stay than some of y'all. Great location, easy access, 10 minutes away from Okaloosa beach. Will definitely stay again in the future.

All the staff was very friendly and welcoming! The rooms were very clean and comfy.... made me feel like I was at home! The free continental breakfast in the morning had plenty of delicious options, for adults and kids both. Will most definitely stay here again when Im in Destin!

Very disappointed in checking in ask if early check in was ok because on line it said 3:30, but at the counter there was a sign 3:00pm and I still had to wait until 3:00because my room wasn’t ready and couldn’t use the pool because they was a family that took over the pool area adults drinking liquor loud music I went let the receptionist about the pool area and was told that they expected that because it’s a holiday and couldn’t do nothing about it Martin the check in clerk was not friendly or helpful I will not be going back
