Beautiful, family friendly hotel

Nice family friendly

I don’t usually write reviews but we just returned from a wonderful week at the EdgeWater resort and had to share my experiences as we loved it so much! We found this resort online as a last minute change of plans for spring break and traveled with our kids ages 2.5, 6 and 9. We didn’t know what to expect as this was our first time to Naples and to this resort, but the trip exceed our expectations. We were upgraded from a city view room to an ocean view room free of charge. When our flight home got cancelled and we had to stay two extra nights, they we very accommodating and allowed us to stay in our same unit for the same rate as we had been paying (the current rate was over double). We will definitely return and met several families there that had been coming there for 20 Years because it is so great! Pros: Very comfortable accommodations for families with young kids. Units have kitchen areas and you can easily buy groceries to be delivered to stock up. Excellent service all around. The pool bartenders are very friendly and skilled and have been there for many years. You can’t beat the beach access which is so close to the pool and so easy to move back and forth between the two with the kids. We loved that there is a shuttle that you can call up in demand that will take you to and from downtown Naples for dinner and shopping (runs till 10pm). Grounds were well kept. Cons: Rooms may not be up-to-date enough for some peoples standards but didn’t bother us.
