Islander Resort

Thank you very much. My family and I loved the hotel. The pool was excellent and the rooms were excellent.

It’s my second time here for reason. Absolutely beautiful private resort with beautiful villas. Love it here despite having rude kids jumping on the ocean raft that my daughter was on getting her phone wet with no apologies. Wish there would be a kids area where rude kids are not allowed.

Great time at the Islander for the whole family. Beautiful property, perfectly situated. We spent plenty of time on the beach, at the pool, and our son loved fishing from the dock!

My only drawback was the kids after midnight jumping off the fountain into the pool. It just seemed like there was less security.

We had a lovely stay at the resort. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The two pool areas were beautiful along with the beach area. Our family had fun riding the bikes every day. We even got to witness a sea turtle release on the premises. The only draw back for me was the matter of lots of smoking. We had a non smoking room but the people next to us smoked on the patio outside causing our patio area to become engulfed with smoke as well as our room whenever we opened the door. People also smoked at the pool area and the outdoor bar/restaurant area. I understand these are all outdoor areas however if you are a non smoker it really is unpleasant to endure smoke while you are eating or relaxing.

I never write reviews we had two one bedroom suites. We left a day early. Our room didn’t get cleaned and we had to keep asking for them to come clean it. The pack and play provided was broken and just left in the room. When we were ready to put my toddler to sleep. We had to call and have them bring a new one. The management came. I called several times for them to come clean out room and that was never done. The photos on the website and the actually room do not match up. The rooms look beautiful on the site. The management were not accommodating at all. Didn’t even call back after I called them several times

Overall nice place to stay on the island, take note- NO SPLASH PAD! Manager was kind enough to waive some fees for the inconvenience but the kids were bummed. Otherwise all great

The property seems to have been updated recently. It’s fairly well maintained and clean, and overall the staff is friendly. The room is beautifully decorated and very spacious however the AC (mini split) was small for the square footage. It didn’t cool off the room until about 2 am (and was on since 3 pm). The room had a full size fridge. There’s only a few channels and WiFi has extremely poor strength. We requested 2 extra pillows that arrived an hour later and appeared used and didn’t smell clean. We tried the Elements restaurant for breakfast and do not recommend wasting your money there. We stayed overnight for a family affair and must say we weren’t able to sleep much due to AC and pillow situations. The property has a couple of nice places to eat nearby. In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced.
