The Kent Hotel

Pros: * The reception staff. Amazing friendly people. Cannot fault how helpful they all were. My daughters and nieces loved Josh. * Beds are extremely comfy. * In a perfect location. * Breakfast next door was nice(pricey but all Miami is). * Netflix, Youtube and lots of tv channels. * Free use of beach towels. * Fridge came in handy. * Nice shower gel. * Ice machine and drinks vending machine. Cons: * No tea/coffee making facilities(most important for me). * No chest of drawers for clothes. * Wardrobe hanging space limited. * Rooms are quite small, but did the job for me and kids. 4 adults you might be cramped.

Good area close to the beach. The hotel profiles thowards men I would say. We came as a family though. We asked for cleaning that was never put in the system and was never done. The manager instead promised to at least change the towels and take out the trach but they did not do that either. Morning coffe is included from the restaurant next door but they never bothered to mention that. The restaurant informed us when we were about to pay.

If you are looking to come and party great place if you are relaxing or with family wont recommend it because is a bit loud due to the lounge they have open till 2am

Great location and price. Hotel smell like marijuana. We had kids who had ever smelled it.

Our family stay for my daughters birthday was just ok. Nothing to be exited about. Our bathroom sink did not work properly and they had no washcloths from day 2 of 5 onward. They also ran out of towels so they gave us 2 beach towels instead.

Loved Alex from the front desk!!! And the door man and the person who helped us with our bags the last day- BUT Alex was seriously amazing. Just taking the time to talk to me and my family and help us with our questions or anything really he was super awesome. I don’t have a bad word to say about any of the staff!! Oh and the cleaning ladies were super friendly. I will definitely stay here again with my family… The beds were super comfortable great location close to the beach. Great restaurants all around you have a great restaurant right next-door to the hotel. Pretty comfy beds. I’ve already recommended it to a whole bunch of my friends and clients overall very cozy, warm and friendly feeling to it. Cool decorations.

We stayed at a room with double queen beds for 4 nights . We were a party of 3 adults and a 17 yo. The Kent hotel location is fantastic. The beach is a block away. There are plenty of dining and transportation options. However, parking space on the street is limited. There is a parking garage nearby, though. The hotel is very near all the happening places in Miami beach. The room we were in was very ,very small. It might work for a smaller group ,but with the four of us , we were constantly tripping over each other. There is no coffee machine or microwave in the room. So if you need coffee first thing in the morning, be prepared to walk out to find the nearest coffee shop. The only one i found open early in the morning was Starbucks, which is a good 10 minute walk away. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, so the bathroom floor ended up getting wet and yucky after the first person took their shower. In summary, the hotel location is great. The staff are helpful.the rooms are small so would work well for a couple. A normal size family would find the room size inconvenient.

Excellent staff, kid friendly hotel, conveniently walkable to the beach and stores. Didn't like but hotel can't control the noise of people coming in at 3, 4 or 5 a.m. running in the hall.

Good stuff - Staff were all very friendly, location was great and an easy walk to the ocean, hotel was clean, beds were comfy. Not so good - the rooms are VERY small, I would not recommend staying more than a couple days with a family. Even though the hotel was clean our bathroom smelled awful all the time and was very humid no matter what we did, there was no fan to help. Also didn’t love the restaurant in the hotel which was a Hooka bar, not super interesting when you’re with kids.
