Cardozo Hotel South Beach

This is one of the best hotel and the front desk person Alexander is awesome. Overall great experience for family with kids. I highly recommend this place as it’s convenient to beach, parking and restaurants as well.

The only reason that we couldn't give this property and excellent score was for a few minor things. Parking is rough but what you would expect for a busy city area. $42 for valet and $25 for the public garage. We used valet. There is no luggage assistance and no luggage rack to use. .House keeping was a bit skimpy on the towels but the room was very clean only 1 facecloth & hand towel although they did provide 2 bath. so we had to ask for more. Also they didn't replenish our shower gel so we had to call for more. I would think that a checklist would rectify this. We also witnessed a female manager yelling at one of the bartenders out in the open and as a guest we found this to be super unprofessional she should have taken him behind closed doors. She didn't seem to interact with the guests at all. But the staff was top knotch and super friendly. The hotel was super pretty offered a fantastic location right across the street from the beach and walking distance a million restaurants bars and shops. Great location in the heart of the art deco district of South Beach. The restaurant coffee shop and bar at the hotel were also fantastic. Gloria and Emilio Estefan who are the owners of the hotel were there on our first night celebrating her 66 birthday in the restaurant with their family. That was pretty cool. If you are looking for a lively place to stay that screams the Latino South Beach Experience like we were, this is your place. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome location ! Great friendly staff ! My family and I really enjoyed where we stayed for our vacation . Everyone was so helpful! I can’t think of the really nice lady that works the front desk but she was awesome !! Highly recommend this place

Nice hotel right on Ocean Drive. Parking garage is right next door and only cost $20 per day, which is pretty cheap for South Beach. Rooms were clean, beautiful bathroom. the only problem was no darkening curtains at all, so be ready for that sun fully shining in at 6 am. Our reservation was for 4 person, still they only gave us breakfast for 2, which did not make any sense. Staff very nice and helpful. Offered us 2 bikes too, but again that is pointless if you are a family of 4.
