The staff member on duty the night we checked in did not very patience even though I had called and let them know we would be very late due to our flight. The restaurant ordering staff and manager were great. We had ordered pizza and the crust was not fully cooked. They re-did our order. However, all of the other staff was amazing. The evening gentleman on Saturday 3/30/2024 was very helpful in finding a doctor that would come to the room at the hotel for a sick child. I would stay at The Cavalier again.

Unbeatable location—easy walk across the street to the beach, restaurants everywhere. Clean, cozy, comfortable room and beds. Bathroom was less private than ideal, a sliding door with a large gap no matter how you closed it. The vintage elevator is charming but unreliable, it wasn’t working intermittently during our stay, including the early morning when we checked out so we had to take three flights of stairs with our suitcases and toddler. If an elevator is an absolute must for your stay I would be weary of this option. Be mindful of the daily resort fee.

Excellent location, front desk staff amazing, breakfast ok, Small rooms No coffee in rooms No view from rooms; adjacent building just a few feet away Little space to sit in lobby; one crying kid throwing tantrums in the small lobby made it difficult for all the guests and staff; No elect outlet on one side of King Bed in rooms Cannot turn off room lights from bed Noise from room upstairs; moving chairs around. The shower glass partition is so short water leaks out as you take shower There is no exhaust in the bathroom- room windows get fogged up as you shower WIFI signal weak at times Only one hand-towel in each bedroom. Good otherwise

Really enjoyed our stay, slept like a baby both nights. It was great to be so close to the beach and the walking path. The hotel staff are the best.

Really loud, not for families, elevator constantly stuck, no bell boys, street is closed off you need to park a block away and carry your things yourself to the property.

Great location, minimal service. The free breakfast is a plus when traveling with kids. Things are a little run down but that’s to be expected next to the beach
