Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LIVE OAK, an IHG Hotel

Had to kill a roach when we got into the room. Pool was great for the kids.

Direct tv didn’t work! Fire alarm went off at 6 15 am. Kept going off for over an hour. Scared my 3 grandchildren and caused them to cry. I want my money back!

I stayed on 10/5 for one night and it was terrible. I have never stayed in hotel this bad in my life! I was visiting family in the area with my two young daughters and checked into the hotel to drop off our bags and then headed back out. When I first got in the room I noticed a strong chemical smell and noticed the ceiling was covered in mildew and the shower was gross. Then we noticed everything was soaked in the room even the beds. When I tried to switch to a different room they were sold out. I checked other hotels in the area and they were sold out too. Thankfully the front desk clerk came up at 12am to change the bedding. I was seriously concerned for our health staying in a damp mildew room. But I had no other options so I opened a window and tried to get some sleep. Woke up throughout the night with a pounding headache and checked out first thing in the morning. Hotel management took over 10 days to get back to me after and refused to do anything about it. They should be ashamed of their hotel conditions and customer service. I will never stay at this hotel again and neither will any of my family!

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very nice, but I'm in a wheelchair and I had a handicap accessible room with a rollin shower and everything about the room was accessible except the bed it was way too high for a handicapped room! Luckily I had family in the area that had a air mattress that I could get on and off of.

Slipped and fell in bath tub and broke rib. No anti-skid and no hand rails. Bath tub was extremely slippery.. Property manager made report but still no contact with their corp office. Terrible.
