Holiday Inn & Suites Lake City, an IHG Hotel

After a long drive our family was so excited to finally arrive at the Holiday Inn. Unfortunately we were booked into the second floor somewhere above the pool and it was so noisy when we were trying to sleep it was as if we were right outside of the pool room door. Additionally the beds were THE MOST uncomfortable beds we have ever experienced while staying at a Holiday Inn. As if the noise and uncomfortable bed weren’t unfortunate enough the room was clammy and hot despite the air being set at 68. I would like to close with saying that the staff was very friendly during check in and check out. I wish I had something better to say about this hotel but we will be going out of our way to stay somewhere else on our way back home.

Coming back from out of state trip we decided to stop for the night. We did a late check in. The front was very nice and friendly. She made. The check in process easy. We were of the top floor. Elevators were working (maybe a little slow). We were very happy with the room. We got a king size bed and and trust me very welcomed. The room was oversized which was a plus. Really the only down side ( no fault of hotel) We were woken up at 7:44am with screaming kid. The sound really carried. Must of been at the free breakfast served. We would of liked to sleep in a little longer.

The room was quite comfortable and the Wi-Fi was very strong. Was up visiting family and friends near Lake City will definitely stay here again

It was a very good quick stay. Just overnight before we moved on to the rest of our trip. We arrived very late and the night clerk was very nice. Our room was very comfortable. It had plenty of space to accommodate our family of 4.

Stayed on Christmas day. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was spacious and clean. The whole family (5) loved it.

Our room is pretty gross. Stains on furniture. Found a pill from previous person sitting on counter. Elevator is super slow… just took the stairs. Pool floor left debris on my kids legs and feet. Overall just needs cleaning. Pro’s - just of highway for those on the road. Amenities are good with a pool, restaurant, and suites. Nearby fast food restaurants.

I love how i was accommodated for the 3 days i had to be here. My family and I were misplaced due to a septic problem in our house and we booked here. We were treated nothing but good.

Stayed for a baseball tournament so we had a lot of kids with us. Property was close to all restaurants within across the street to 2 miles. Walmart and other shopping areas are within 2 miles also. Clean facility, staff were helpful, bartender was good, pool very clean. They are very stern on the 10pm quiet time, even outside in the parking lot. Beds and comforters were very nice. Overall I give this hotel an 8/10.

The hotel is very nice, excellent location, amenities… but there is a HUGE lack of management. A bunch of kids with their parents took over the pool and the lobby, the parents drinking alcohol and the kids playing football in the water that NO ONE ELSE could use the pool. Another family complained and nobody did anything. I tried to complain too, but the front desk was always EMPTY. It is a pity because the hotel is cool, but I don’t want to deal with a bunch of savages.

The AC was broken in our room and there was no other rooms available. Front desk moved us to a different hotel “free of charge”. Wow thank you so much for not charging me to pack up all my stuff and kids at 1am and move to a different hotel. No reimbursement or compensation at all.
