Regal Inn

Owners very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean, quiet and definitely worth the price. One of the better hotels in lake city at an affordable price definitely recommend this hotel to family, friends, coworkers, etc.

Would definitely stay again!! It is everything that you want in a budget place and more. The place smelled and looked clean. Even my nephews commented on how clean everything was! No smoke, no pet odor. Yes I got a non -smoking room but often when I stay at smaller places it smells strongly of smoke. NOT the case here...I am very sensitive. We all slept amazing at night. No road noise, no crazy parking lot shenanigans, no stress over location. One morning we walked 2 minutes to Waffle House next door. Service was attentive AND friendly. We had lots of TV stations with family friendly options and me and my nephews (12/10) were able to find shows we all liked. The air was cool which was great for sleeping. My only personal preferences, which I do not feel warranted docking stars... I would like a little more light in the room. I also prefer a heavier blanket when sleeping. I wasn't cold, I just like something a little more weighted. I asked at the front desk and had a second blanket at my room in five minutes 👌

Honestly blown away by this property, it’s clean, super cute and a steal of a price. We booked 3 rooms 3 different places in lake city as a family and ours was the cheapest, cleanest, and right beside Waffle House and Walmart so quick grabs!

For the price it wasn't bad and we were mostly comfortable. I am very picky so for this ptice it was better than other places and didn't make my skin crawl lol. My issue was the floors were not clean (we walk with slippers and step on towels anyway but still don't like having dirty floors). We also had some dirty towels so maybe they aren't washing them good. I had my own washcloth but will bring my own drying now. When I asked for someone to come clean thefloors and bring us towels the cleaning lady was smoking and try to hide her cigarette on her side. I decided to not let her do the floors because we didn't want the cigarette smell in our room plus my daughter just had a newborn baby. Throughout the day the cleaning lady was smoking while working and the smell started coming in our rooms, through the cracks of the doors. I cannot stand cigarettes and again there was a baby. I called the room and had to ask for the cleaning lady to not smoke atound oyr room. She really shouldn't be smoking on the job anyway but that's my opinion.

Our family was without power for a week following Hurricane Idalia for a night away- we chose Regal Inn because of how clean and modern the photos looked. When we pulled up we realized the photos are very misleading. The lobby does not look like how it is portrayed on Hotels.com. Yes the counter is nice but it is very much a standard cheap turn and go motel, no place for kids. The front desk woman didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in… a man in front of us was trying to pay and she couldn’t find the info for his room or something. We finally check in and were pleasantly surprised that the bedding and finishes in the room WERE as pictured… but you can tell the blankets weren’t washed, we found small hairs on the sheets (which was probably caused by putting a dirty blanket on a clean bed- because they did smell clean) and within 20 minutes all of our feet were BLACK. My toddler spilled water and when we went to wipe it up the white towel turned black- floors were NOT mopped. We opted not to bathe our children in the tub because we couldn’t make sure it was clean (and half the reason of getting a hotel was so we could all have warm showers). The AC blew cold but you could see dirt and mold on the vent. Very concerning health-wise…. And it’s like the owners KNOW they are not doing things to the best of their abilities because NO REFUNDS is posted everywhere! The owner completely ignored me when I went to return key and they refused to acknowledge the filth. Never again!

The room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and accommodating, the price was a good deal. The motel is just off the highway - not a pretty area but lots of food and shopping options nearby and highway access right there. Seemed to be some families living in the back area but they were on good behavior and didn’t bother me. Since it is near the road and next to a Chipotle’s there were occasional hot rods, motorcycles, and booming car stereos passing by - not the fault of the establishment and no different than the toxic tds masculinity on wheels I’ve encountered elsewhere in my travels. I was given a quieter room and have no complaints and would definitely return.

The Regal Inn had a higher customer rating than all the "name" brand hotels, which is why I chose it. I was not disappointed. My daughter and I stayed here for the Archery Tournament that was being held locally. IT WAS PERFECT for our needs and close to everything we were doing. It was reminiscent of what my dad would book us growing up while traveling. And for an older hotel/motel, the rooms have been updated to reflect the needs of the modern traveler. I loved that there was a sliding barn door added to give separation of the bathroom to the room itself, this addition gives a private dressing area for the occupants of the room which makes it perfect for families.

This hotel is family own they is very nice and welcome me & cousin without no problem they was very professional the room was very nice and clean I didn’t have not one complaint

The front of the property looked fine until we drove around to the other side and we were appalled. Cars in disrepair, trash bags for windows, looked like a complete dump. We didn’t stay, we didn’t feel safe with 2 cars loaded down for our trip and 2 young children. Extremely disappointed with all the reviews I read prior and that this is even listed on the site.
