Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Blvd

We had an absolutely horrible experience while visiting the hotel. When we arrived at 4:10 p.m. roughly, our room was not ready along with many others sitting in the lobby waiting for their rooms.We had to get changed for a concert we were attending in the main lobby bathroom.Once we returned from the concert, we checked in finally and then were advised that the hotel had no water.We were unable to use the washroom, brush our teeth, or shower or get a drink of water even.As myself and my daughter had some woman issues for that time of the month, it was a very big inconvenience for us.We are a family of 5, and my fiancé and 2 boy children did not need to witness that kind of thing.We were put in a horrible situation.We were hours trying to get back to the hotel after the concert and this is what we were faced with when we arrived back at the hotel. We didn't even want to order food in case one of us ended up with a bad stomach and couldn't use the washroom.There was no compensation, no refund or partial refund, or a free night or two offered.We were just expected to be fine with the accommodations. It felt very dirty to us and I found it very hard to believe that a hotel could continue to operate when they have no water.Also, when we went to put a drink in the fridge there was left over food in there.It was absolutely disgusting. Coming from far away (Newfoundland) to stay in that hotel was very disappointing and I will rethink my hotel options in the future

After driving for 8hours we were searching for an affordable, CLEAN and safe place to stay, after reading lots of reviews on other places we decided to go with this one, nice loby, parking lot is pretty big, the room was small 423 (which we didn't care we just wanted to sleep) IT DIDN'T SMELL LIKE CIGARETTE huge plus for us, with a Asthmatic kid, it was pretty much clean, found lots of different hairs in the bathroom but other than that looked clean to me, Breakfast was from 6-9am really good, lots to choose from, for $120 it was nice. I would stay here again

My stay was amazing, everything was good, hotel was clean, breakfast was good all the staff were friendly and helpful. Trinity at the front desk is was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend family and friends 💜

I feel like the area around this hotel has gotten worse as the years go by. There were random people sitting or walking around the parking lot late at night (Not associated with the property) and it made it feel less safe to go down to your vehicle if needed. A family in my group of travelers had some issues with noise from the room next to them until late at night as well...yelling and cursing.
