Hampton Inn Boca Raton-Deerfield Beach

There was a death in the family and, while my parents and I were taking care of logistics, we stayed at the Hampton Inn Boca/Deerfield and the experience was TERRIBLE. Here's why: 1. The door jams were so sticky, I had bruises on each shoulder from trying to slam them open. I still have no idea how my 70something parents managed to go in and out. 2. Housekeeping didn't come for THREE DAYS. 3. We requested new towels multiple times and only when I went down to the front desk, did they hand me a pile of new linens. 4. My parents fridge was so cold, it froze everything inside. 5. My fridge couldn't hold the temperature and was actively melting each time I opened the door. 6. The toilet leaked and left puddles of water all over the slick tile floor. 7. A clerk scolded me for having my service dog with me while I attempted to grab a yogurt from the pitiful breakfast station. She was super rude, condescending, and then proceeded to talk smack about me to whoever her friend working at the front desk because I COULD HEAR HER from the coffee station. 8. At 7:30AM on the morning we checked out, the fire alarm blasted after someone's waffle caught on fire in the toaster during the free continental breakfast. Before Covid, my family stayed here numerous times and were impressed by the cleanliness and service. This time? There should be a rating BELOW poor to describe my experience. Expedia should really do something to make this right.

Made a reservation thru Travelocity and paid in advance. Get to the hotel at 2 am after flight delay and the clerk could not get the computer to work to check me in and give me a room card key. No attempt to call anyone. No acknowledgement that I had a child with me. Had to go look for another hotel on my own because of the time Other hotels would not accept travelocity reservations.
