Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, an IHG Hotel

This is the cutest little boutique hotel in Fort Lauderdale! The location is perfect. It’s nestled in beside all the big name hotels (hilton, westin etc) but off the beaten path a little bit so you’re away from the busyness. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and you get 2 reserved beach chairs included with your stay. They really have thought of everything - they provide a beach bag w two beach towels in your room, complimentary (really good!) coffee, tea and infused water in the lobby everyday, yoga classes on the beach.. the list goes on. We consistently felt like the staff actually cared about our stay and comfort - they were wonderful! It did rain for 2 days during our trip so my only con would be there isn’t really anywhere covered by the pools to hang out when it rains but a very small thing in a list full of pros. The rooftop pool was incredible!! The views were perfect, the music was great and the food/drink up there were delicious! We can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you for a perfect baby moon!

Great property with a cool vibe. Restaurant was excellent and room was well appointed. As we were travelling with 2 children (10/13), we found that it was not ideal for them. The lower pool was not heated and the rooftop one was geared toward a party atmosphere. We could really only use in the morning when it was quiet. Once it got to the afternoon, it was very busy, and not conducive to families.

Great spot with 2 pools, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar next to the rooftop pool. Very clean (although the bathroom floor in the room is due for a scrubbing). Ping pong and cornhole were available for the kids in a nice little courtyard near the room. Complimentary coffee and chilled water were available near the lobby but were often not refilled when empty. The amazing staff justified the overall 5 star review. The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to returning.

The premises are so clean, the location is excellent, but the highlight was the staff. Never have I felt so welcomed and taken care of by a fantastic bunch of people. Their secret was that it was genuine. Although they were very professional, it felt like they really cared about our wellbeing like a family member would, and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I will always stay at the Kimpton when I return to Fort Lauderdale because of the staff.

Our stay was amazing, the rooftop pool has an amazing view. The food was great! In general my family had a great time.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Goodwin this past weekend. The staff was courteous and helpful. Iris at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate our connecting room request and gave us great recommendations for food and activities. We are looking forward to staying there again in the near future.

The property is in a good location in terms of walkability to restaurants and other local businesses. I wish the hotel restaurant had more options especially if traveling with kids or teens. A continental breakfast offered as part of resort fee would be a nice addition. I did not take advantage of the yoga or the bikes. A snack bar especially for late night cravings, the cvs is too far for a late night run.

Horrible experience, they have one employee thats super rude, sarcastic and they have to nerve to tell my family and I they have received many complaints on this individual but have been waiting to fire him.

Really cute hotel with a nice, relaxing vibe. Hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooftop pool was amazing. Very walkable location. Yoga on the patio was great in the morning. Went there for a family vacation.
