Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach

Not quite sure how to start !!! Day1 toilet not functioning & air con v loud . 3 phone calls to reception & 3 hours later, engineer mended toilet & adjusted aircon .. No turn down service .. we scheduled a turn down at reception but they made up the sofa bed instead & nothing else !!! .. more calls to receptionist to put it back .. & another wait when all wanted to do was get ready for bed ! We kept persevering for a turn down & eventually , on last eve, got one with chocs .. hurrah !!! Day 2 .. no sun beds or umbrellas available on beach .. had to sit on towels .. pool chairs all reserved with towels Day 3 .. checked bill on tv & had additional charges ( as well as 45 dollars a day resort fees ) of approx 50 dollars a day.. another call to reception was told were non refundable and ‘ this is Florida ‘ Day 4 .. Tap on bath faulty and when turned on hot water .. it came through the shower unit .. tap v loose and couldn’t adjust . Also shower head coming away from wall .. Day 5 .. bill charges sorted but still bath tap still faulty Spinicar bar/restaurant rarely available in evenings .. as used for corporate functions .. but when open all drinks in plastic cups .. even in evenings and v limited menu The newly opened Italian on site is lovely is a bit expensive Generally , the rooms are lovely and hotel v suitable for families. Stall are helpful on the whole but this is not 5 star !

We stayed 4 nights. EVERY DAY the pool was broken! We came here in the winter season with 2 young kids. The heater should be working, especially during Christmas time in the winter! Every day they said "oh its fixed"or "the company didn't come yet" or "It will be hot soon". We spent almost $4,000, and we wouldn't even swim at the pools due to it being FREEZING!!! How can a huge hotel chain cant get their hot tub and normal pool to have a properly working heater! We were lied to when we booked this, the pools arent heated!

Stayed 4 nights for our baby moon and couldn’t recommend more. We stayed in the partial ocean view junior suite and it was massive. Room was immaculate with top of the line toiletries. Felt right at home and were not ready to go leave. Beach service is great and convenient. Will return again for longer!

Beautiful hotel, nice place to stay with family

Decided to choose this resort because they dedicate an entire web page to kid activities at the resort. This is simply untrue. An outside company runs a kids' camp and they work out of various resorts. It's very misleading and needs to be changed. The water in the tub is yellow and the hotel admits to this and says it's safe. Bathroom is huge but inconsistent water pressure and temperature is inconsistent. SHower only had cold water and low pressure. We arrived on Monday and every member seemed to have low energy. By Wednesday though, the pool staff went out of their way to make guests feel special: cool towels, grapes, ice bottle water delivery to every guest. The SPA was the highlight of the stay. Every member was professional and courteous and service was superb.

It’s the perfect place for a romantic getaway, family time away or just to recharge and escape.

One of the best stay i have had in a hotel , clean nice friendly and beach access was the best!!!! I will be back witht he family again they have won all my hotel nights business

When we first stayed there they had just opened and we spoiled ourselves with a 1 bedroom suite. This time we booked a junior suite last minute. The room was fantastic...great layout, beautiful, and comfortable. The issue we had was the overall service, lack of response, getting our room serviced, etc. I called down after we checked in because we were on a lower floor (my fault for not requesting a higher floor) I was told they would try to accommodate and call me right back...never called back. Also, phoned and asked for ice and to have a dining tray removed...never showed up. Asked if we could have our room serviced...2 hours later still no show. Beautiful resort, but really need to improve on service. I hate to give a negative review because loved the rooms...maybe will give it one more try.

I could spend an hour reviewing this dump of a hotel but it’s not worth my time. I paid over $2000 a night for six nights stay from December 27 to January 2 with my three teenage kids. We stayed in a large two bedroom, two full bath resident. There was ample amount of space which is why I paid over two grand a night, however, this is not a five star hotel by any means. The furniture, decor, and general vibe of the suite was dated and just dirty and gross. The bed frames were ripped, and other than what seemed to be relatively newer carpeting, the suite was a dump. All of the patio furniture was dirty and rusting. The gym was decent size, but looked like it hadn’t been cleaned , in probably five years and it certainly wasn’t attended to like typically at five star hotels. They failed to do turn down service two times. I asked for some fruit and diet Cokes to be provided because we did not arrive at the hotel until after 830 and they charged $100 and most of the fruit was super ”tropical” and wouldn’t be eaten. I have stayed at dozens and dozens of five star hotels across the United States, the Caribbean in Europe, and often times you will get a beautiful array of sweets, fruit, etc. at no charge because you are paying a premium for the room. This is Fort Lauderdale. It’s not Beverly Hills, Miami or Paris or New York. Don’t waste your money. It’s a dump. Go stay at the four seasons next-door.
