Residence Inn by Marriott Melbourne

We were woke up with ALARM had to hurry up dress and walk 4 flights of stairs. The baby was 18 months old scared and the fire trucks were there & finally after about 45 minutes it was turned off then as going back upstairs went off again. Hurried and packed with going off again. Didn’t get breakfast, felt very weak had to get help almost passed out. The front desk said it was from a dryer. This was not our only time staying overnight so we booked 2 nights this time. We come once a month. Don’t know if we will stay at Marriott again. We will be looking for an Airbnb rental. AMAZING hotel. Everything from the front-end staff, the room, the location and the breakfast was fantastic. As our 5/6 hotel during our trip, it was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Upon check-in, we were offered a room upgrade at no extra cost from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, perfect for our young family with 2 under 5 years old. The room itself was very clean and well-appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Every so often a weird metallic "clang" could be heard in our room but otherwise sound-proofing was excellent, we couldn't tell we were in a hotel with other guests when we were in the room. Breakfast selection was also excellent. We would come back to Melbourne in the future just to stay at this hotel! It is very close to many beaches and only a 1-2 hr drive to some notable attractions.

We choose the Residence Inn in Melbourne, Florida because it was a central location for what we wanted to do with our family. We wanted to check out Daytona Beach which was about an hour and a half away, we checked out Epcot Center In Disney, which was an hour away and we had an awesome time at both.The Inn was only six miles from the beach, which was free to get on,and down the highway from the Residence Inn were other points of interest like the Mario Andretti Trill Park which had 2 go cart tracks, miniature golf, arcade and more. The Residence Inn had a hot breakfast every morning, a social hour with finger foods almost every night, heated pool, internet and more. We were please with the room size with the full kitchen, flat screen tv, the staff was always smiling and friendly and our room was always cleaned every day. The hotel was always clean and you can tell that they cared how it looked, they even used those steam mops, like the one by Shark to cleaned the floors, which impressed me.WE can't say enough about it. We highly recommend it.

My husband and I were in for a family wedding. We spent 2 nights here but definitely plan on coming back for future family visits. The room was very nice. Everything is new. The rooms feel like upscale apartments. Breakfast buffet was good what we got of it. Both mornings a family with 5 kids just beat us there and took everything! Small children with plates piled high. They threw most of it out. It was heartbreaking. Hopefully you won't experience that. The staff had to scramble to keep food on the buffet.
