Hyatt Place Melbourne / Palm Bay

I came to Florida for vacation to have a good time and just hanging around the hotel with my kids and having the security how to be a parent and giving me a curfew made me uncomfortable.

We stayed here as a halfway stop to our final vacation spot. We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was spacious for our family of 4, the pull-out bed was comfy, and the bathroom was spacious as well. They also had a hot breakfast in the morning. It was simple but perfect.

Hotel was decent but service by housekeeping was terrible. Called to have room cleaned day two housekeeping comes day 3 @830 am when told to give 1hour for family and I to get dressed to come back, they never did. Family and ended up leaving @5p because of room not being clean. We literally had to clean and service the room ourselves.

Excellent service as always,nour second stay here and we love it! Thanks for giving us the best room to stay with kids (no bathtub), really hepful. Love the breakfast, perfect size room and peacefull place to rest

Very convenient off of 95. The facility was clean. The lobby was nice. Breakfast was good. The beds were super comfortable. The room we had with a sofa made it very nice for my family

Nothing. Kids running amuck Thursday Hotel.Knocked on our door 3X and when I confronted their parents and management, it was no big deal. Mgt watched as these kids ran thru hotel acting like they were on the playground. Mgt offered us NO refund or a free stay. Will never stay at a Hyatt again. I brought the issue to yur mgt team and they shook it off .

The area was good, close to food, shopping and convenience. The room was clean. But warning - the curtain is see through and if you don’t know, you wouldn’t know there was a blackout to pull down. The fire pit wasn’t working, the bar/restaurant closes early, so if you’re getting after 8pm, make plans on eating out. But they did have nice snacks and the breakfast was slightly better than other establishments ‘free breakfast’. The pool was already closed for the evening but looked accommodating to youngsters, with noodles and pool balls floating around the pool. There was a night security guard that roamed around, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. Did the hotel ‘need’ a security guard because it was a bad area or was he there just for guest to feel safe. The neighborhood seemed good enough to not require a guard, but talking with some of the locals, evidently there is a homeless camp not too far away. I did not see, encounter or witness homeless or anything of the sort. I felt safe, not because of the guard but because it was a nice area. Harley Davidson and BassPro are both within a stones throw which was nice. HD had things going on on the weekend and who doesn’t love BassPro? It was a good stay.

Excellent hotel and staff, love the room so spacious and perfect when you travel with kids, super clean! we all love the breakfast!

This was our 4th stay here…hotel is conveniently located for all we wanted to do in the area.. room was nice and clean, all the staff members were super friendly and helpful…breakfast was good.. the only issue which wasn’t the hotels fault necessarily, there was a large group (25-30) people at least family members there for some kind of reunion, they came back very late the Saturday night we were there and were very disruptive and loud for over an hour in the hallway by our room .. overall stay was very good, we will definitely be back..
