We stayed at this hotel in July of 2024. Not really much to say except that the staff were very nice, room was large and very clean and the location is walkable to most areas we were hoping to see. Most areas within a mile. We used valet, which was fast and easy. As for the attached restaurant, not so good. We were offered two free drink tickets on check-in, so we decided to have dinner there one night. Waiter was nice, but clearly new to the business so service wasn't great, but nice kid learning. He gets the pass. The drinks we ordered were good, but the gnats or fruit flies that came with them and swarmed our table for the next hour were really not great. Our food (chicken) was obviously well undercooked and we only took a few bites. We did not send it back. We were there early for dinner, and staff mainly hung out together with the manager by the bar, a few feet from our table, the entire time and never checked in with us to see how the food was, ask if we wanted another drink or anything at all really. Not sure if the restaurant and hotel are owned by the same company, but they are attached and we were provided free drinks at check-in. Hotel was great, we would never recommend the restaurant.

Convenient location to Union Station is what initially attracted us to this hotel, but our experience is what will prompt us to recommend it to friends and family and to return in the future. We also loved the restaurant! Delicious food that tasted like a home cooked meal with delightful entertainment!

Nice hotel right across Union Station. Staff was friendly and our family room was spacious and clean yet it could get quite noisy in the evening / night. If you are not a firm sleeper like we are that could be a problem maybe. Location was good for public transport. We prefer doing most by foot. Keep in mind that that is very doable yet restaurants and main attractions will take you some time (not around the corner).

A wonderful hotel in a good location! Restaurant on site was a great option for breakfast as needed, but also near other restaurants. The rooms were great for our family and the connecting rooms were perfect!

This was an excellent hotel for its location and price point. The staff were beyond kind! My only “complaint” (which, in reality, is just something to be aware of when booking) is that in my experience, the walls/floors must be not insulated well as I could hear conversations and waking in others rooms very easily. One room around me were awake and talking from 10pm - 4am (perhaps for work). The next room over had a baby and was very loud starting at 7am. So, needless to say, rest didn’t come easy. That said, the hotel does provide ear plugs in your room — they just didn’t work for me. And I didn’t really hear any traffic from outside — all from inside the hotel. Just an FYI for any light sleepers or those that require absolute silence. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay! Also loved I literally just went to the lobby, through a door and was inside an Irish pub. Super convenient and entertaining. Great location for DC bus systems, Union station and museums!

Our family arrived in the wee morning of the night and the concierge greeted us with kindness. He inform us the best parking options and gave a few tips of how we could manage the logistics of getting around town in the morning. Hotel room was very clean and beds were comfortable. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast at the Dubliner. We would deficiently return and recommend to others.

We have stayed here a couple of times because we like the hotel and the Dubliner restaurant. This trip we had 2 issues the first is that the shower had clumps of hair left in there from the previous people who stayed there, and I asked the next morning if someone could go up and clean the shower, and when I got back at the end of the day, it had not been done. The clumps of hair were still in there. So I did call and request again that it be cleaned and someone came up and took care of it. The 2nd issue that I ran into was that as I was going through the stations on the television around midnight one channel that came on was pornographic and it was shocking to me that I didn’t need a special code or something before these images came into my television screen. It was terrible; so glad the children weren’t flipping through the channels.

The valet worker told us to park our own car when we asked for valet,he said he saved us $62 but didn’t want to drive a manual No help with bags we had a trolley and I was told I’d fit and was pushed in the lift On getting to the 8th floor the bedroom cleaners were sat in the hallway having lunch which told us the staff were pretty much doing as they liked Worse to come ,when I pulled the sheets back to get into bed there was poo skid marks so the sheets hadn’t been changed . They came up with clean sheets and we were told to make the bed ourselves I wanted to checkout at this point and didn’t fancy a night in the bed Hence to say we won’t stay there again
