AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Convention Center

Over all the hotel is nice the problem is they had a party on the roof of the hotel. The staff was very disrespectful and the manager of the rooftop was very disrespectful. Don’t Recommend this hotel for families. My son is only 8 and the staff did not care about the safety of my family. Very disappointed

This hotel has no loading or unloading area for guests with kids and luggage. You must load and unload in a busy alleyway on the left side of the hotel 500 feet away. The alleyway is busy with cars coming in and out from an office building garage. It is very dangerous for kids and senior guests. I would not stay or recommend this hotel for this reason alone.

The building requires maintenance. For a family of three the King room is cramped. Shifted to a double queen room during our stay and that was much more comfortable. We noticed our son had insect bites on his legs the morning after our first night and reported it to the staff. We were told by maintenance personnel that it was not bed bugs; however we are experienced travelers and have not experienced this before. We also noticed an abundance of ants in our room and fruit flies in the lobby so the building may require fumigation in the future. On the plus side, front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.
