Hampton Inn Norwich

We were welcomed and greeted warmly upon arrival. All our questions were answered when we asked. We felt safe and my family had a wonderful relaxing time. My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was much better than anticipated and even the other guest were friendly, a breath of fresh air for the north east.

I was able to take my fur babies with me!!

This was probably the NICEST hotel we have stayed in! There were people cleaning at all times. The rooms were updated and clean. The staff was friendly. The pool was fine and not overcrowded but the hot tub with jets is where the kids had the most fun. Breakfast was good and warm! We had the side away from the highway although we looked at a cemetery, it was deadly quiet which was nice! 😂 check in and out was quick! It is a pet friendly hotel but you couldn’t tell. There was no dog smell, no accidents anywhere. Overall GREAT hotel experience.

Check in was terrific. Customer service listened and put us in a nice quiet area since we had an early start to our day and wanted plenty of rest. Room was clean and comfortable. Check out was simple and staff was nice. HOWEVER, Got home and saw a $6 charge come through. When I called to ask what it was for, I was told that waters from room were missing. This is the second time happening at a Hampton inn. We did not need, want, or take the waters and I was upset that it was our word against cleaning staff. I feel scammed. Next time we check out of a hotel, I guess we'll bring the waters to the front desk so they know we didn't take the waters. It was not a nice feeling to have been accused of something that we did not take. I later found out that two other families staying that night were also charged for waters they did not take. All of this is just not right. Doesn't leave a nice feeling or make me want to go to another Hampton inn if this repeatedly happens.

I have nothing but great things to say about this property and staff. I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends!

Very clean hotel. Attentive staff. Good breakfast for free. Everything was perfect. One suggestion. I wish they would offer adult only time for the hot tub and/or pool. They are both packed with kids from opening to close. Wouldve been nice if they offered an hour or two a day free for adults with no children.

Our family had frequented this location many times over the past. However, I'm sad to say we will NEVER STAY in this hotel again. The rooms SMELL OF DOG & URINE. DISGUSTING! Told the front desk they, moved me to another room. Just as bad. They explained they are now "pet friendly " and pests are allowed in any/all rooms. Rooms are not designated solely for pets. DISGUSTING, need deep cleaning and rugs pulled. Couldn't breath or sleep.

We had a great stay specially that it is a pet friendly hotel and we were able to bring our precious family dog with us. The decor is modern, our room was spacious and clean, and the staff is friendly; not to mention that it’s only 7 minutes away from the Mohegan Sun resort casino. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for accommodations in the area.

While our family didn't need to use it, I loved that the hotel was handicapped accessible, including a chair for the pool. I also really liked the quiet location. The "neighbors" are the highway and a cemetery. We opted for the cemetery view and it was really nice, quiet and beautiful. I'd definitely stay there again.

Front staff was kind. My kids loved the pool of course. Room was great
