Mohegan Sun

We came in on a Sunday evening and waited in the Valet line for at least 40 minutes before being ushered around to the front. At least 2 cars with children had to let their significant others and children leave the car because they had been sitting so long. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or this is a regular Sunday issue. Other than that, the stay was lovely!

It was awesome kids cant wait to stay again soon.

I loved the I can walk with kids and family in the entire casino and everywhere else arou the place.

It was a Tuesday and the pool was freezing cold. My kids wouldn’t go in it. And the hot tub was disgusting with floating yellow foam on top of it.

My daughter turned 21 we met family and had a great time

we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for non smoking, but the room have a very strong smoking smell that we have to set our baby sleep in the bathroom. Then we have to switch our room the next day. With a total cost over $1400 it's definitely not the right quality and not worth it, there are much better choices around with half the price.

I have stayed in Mohegan before, once last year for one night and then in their other Hotel during the Fall for one night. I went this time for 2 nights for the 4th of the July weekend so the pool area was very full, there was only one bartender in the pool area so the line was so long and people were not patient that I felt bad for the person behind the bar therefore I didn’t get drinks. The jaccuzi did not look clean as the foam on the water had dirt floating. The pool was fine but with so many families on vacation it was loud. Then in our room the air conditioner was not cooling properly, the first night we came in the room felt muggy so we lowered the AC as much as possible. It seemed to work but the second night, the AC didn’t want to go down from 70 degrees. I personally want to sleep in a cool room but unfortunately we would wake up several times to check on the thermostat which seemed to be new but didn’t do anything. I called the service desk to then be told they were going to lower the temperature to help. Therefore they control the temperature of the room and the control panel is really a decoration. It took 5 hours, right before we were checking out for the room to be at 65 degrees. After staying in a Caribbean resort where there was a heat wave and having my room cool to at least 65 degrees, I didn’t expect to be so uncomfortable in Mohegan which is NOT a cheap hotel. Concierge then said as I checked out "aww I am so sorry, your receipt will be emailed”.

Our family of 4 stayed at Mohegan Sun over Memorial Day. On the last day of our trip, we got a call from a hotel manager saying their digital sensor picked up smoking in the room. We absolutely did not smoke in the room and asked for them to come up and test with another sensor. They wouldn't and told us we were being charged $500 because their sensor is 100% accurate. We spoke with a manager who was extremely rude and didn't care if we reported this issue. Needless to say, being unilaterally charged $500 for something we didn't do is very upsetting. In all my years of travel, this has never happened to us. Warning to guests that this could happen to you!

We booked this for a family outing with my parents who are old. It did not say that we had to walk from check in down a long corridor to our hotel. My Mom has COPD and can't walk long distances and my Dad uses a cane. There were no wheelchairs available once we found this out, so we had to rent a scooter which was unplanned and unavailable at first. I would not have booked this place had we known the details of the layout. Our hotel was the Earth Towers which was not specific in details that it was not attached to main building which is needed for check in and no way to drop them off in front of the towers we had to all go to main bldg then walk a distance to our hotel . I think specific details should be mentioned when booking this hotel, otherwise it was a nice time filled with memories.

I was impressed with all the eatery options on the property and the kids enjoyed the indoor pool area and the sights in and around the property. The price point seemed relatively high with below average room amenities, and there were a lot of noises throughout the night in our room, however the beds and pillows were comfortable.
