Keystone Lodge & Spa by Keystone Resort

Never disappointing when I visit the lodge. It’s always clean and pet friendly. Views are amazing. My family’s favorite things there is the pool and spa. They don’t do food room service which is disappointing. The restaurant options weren’t that good either. Had to leave to get some decent food. Overall, it was a good stay.

My family stayed from Dec 26 to 30, 2023. EVERYDAY, I called the Front desk because the the lights in the bathroom and the entry foyer went out. Even if I leave the door open, it was still dark bec the foyer lights were out. You can just imagine how cold and dark the bathroom was, I mean, freezing cold, in the middle of winter. The front desk, I guess, will call somebody, then lights will turn on, and then they turn off again, within a few min. Most of the day and early night, we were at the ski slopes, so I don't know how much of the problem happens. The first time I was told to turn the light switch on, and I said it was on and that is why I knew the lights were out. The next time I called, they can give me a voucher for coffee or wine, which I was not interested in at all, I just want them to fix the bathroom and foyer properly, and not just to do a "band-aid fix". No other fixtures used. I was told that they are just so busy, and I said that my complaint is very valid for them to address. This kept on going until we left. The room is about $600 per night, but I sure did not feel happy at all about the room. I wanted to talk to the manager to complain but the person was not available. My inconvenience turned into aggravation. I have never stayed at a hotel before with a recurrent problem that was not addressed properly. When my family went to Breckenridge, we did not have any problems at all with the hotel. I gave 2 stars for the convenience of shuttle transportation.

It was extremely magical for Christmas with my family! Watching the snow fall from our balcony was perfect and fast transport to the ski slopes. The housekeeping staff and water ladies were so cheerful and helpful. They made us feel right at home for the week. Thank you 🙂

Loved this stay. Pool, Sauna and Hot Tubs were exactly what we needed on our road trip across the country. Room was large, pet friendly and in great condition. Front desk was great, super helpful, and even let me borrow scissors (no questions asked). Amazing surroundings and views, especially the River just yards away. The water bottles and lobby Sodastream machine were a hit with my kids. Great stay, even in June!

Another excellent visit to the Keystone Lodge & Spa. My family visits the Keystone every year and while they stay at the nearby Hyatt hotel, I choose to stay at the Lodge. It's a fine hotel with friendly staff and a very clean room. Though placed at the far end of the building, I managed to get over my attitude and enjoy my two-night stay. The pool & hot tub are lovely and the hotel is quiet. While the price is competitive, I was willing to spend the extra dollars for what I believe is an upgraded choice.
