The hotel was nice but they do need to inform people before booking that you must pay to park in their lot. $14.00 a day, or you can park on the street or empty mud field. Mind you it's a basic parking lot nothing special. They offer free popcorn, coffee, cider or hot chocolate. You have to ask for them to fix items as they are very very strict on over doing anything. Pool/hot tub are nice and clean but you must go to check in desk so they can walk you in that area. The Pub/restaurant is cute and there is only 1 person who takes orders, cooks, serves drinks and bust tables. She ran her butt off and never complained. Walls are very thin and thanks to the family next to us we didn't sleep until their children fell asleep. These children jumped from beds, ran down hallway and knocked on doors.

I can not understand why it costs $14 to park 1 can at a hotel in Parachute Colorado... especially when there were not others guests there....The first room we were put in smelled terrible we called the front desk and she changed us to a better smelling room. The next morning when we woke up the bathroom smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. When I told the front desk they said there was nothing they could do even though it was a non smoking hotel. The overnight person was very rude. And the breakfast would have been $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults.... We didn't try it but I would not pay that for breakfast at a room that was only $57 a night. Maybe you should charge more for the room and hire a nicer staff. I would never ever stay here or recommend to anyone.

We were so excited to stay in Parachute for our once a year mini vacation with the kids. I use a wheelchair so I made sure to book an accessible room, and the facility was clean and well maintained, Except the wheelchair lift for the pool was completely unusable and broken. The reason I am giving this hotel such a poor rating is that they charged us twice for our room. They shrugged when we asked them to fix it and said we’d get the money back in a few days. It ruined our vacation budget l. We did end up getting our money back, but the girl at the front desk kept My husbands card, stating policy, and when we went to get it back, the staff couldn’t find it anywhere. They shrugged and said it was because she’s new, as though that gave us any consolation for the horrible situation we found ourselves in. My husband ended up having to cancel his card. The hotel did nothing to make up for losing his card or charging us $640 for a $320 hotel room. The manager of a the facility didn’t even have the guts to speak to me and sent her front desk receptionist to smooth things over instead. This hotel is run by crooks. As far as I’m concerned they stole my husband’s card and caused us a severe headache, forcing us to change our vacation plans due to their negligence. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. DO NOT STAY HERE. I can’t recommend more strongly against it. They also keep inventory of how many towels you use

The facility is nice and clean. The room was just as it shows on the website. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the coffee cart when we checked in and the free popcorn was a nice touch. However two things that will prevent us from ever staying there again. We were required to pay $12.00 to park our car in their parking lot? What, I am a guest, that should be a given. And also, we paid for the Continental Breakfast for our 3rd guest and it was supposed to be served from 6 am to 9 am. We went down at 8 am to eat and there was barely a thing left and NOT EVEN COFFFEE! Are you kidding me? We had to go to the gas station to get our coffee. Do better guys. You lost good customers that come up there at least once a month.

The propery was nice and clean. The area was ok, but it had a lot of weed stores. Traveling as a woman with her kids, it was iffy. I would not stay in the town again.

We had 5 people in our party, all listed out. There were not enough pillows for everyone. The front desk person said the pillows were in the wash, they would bring them & did not. In the morning, the front desk would not allow me to buy milk for my baby, suggesting I go to the corner store and gave me the buffet slip, so the buffet selections could be delivered to the room. I circled "Under 5 Free" and "Milk" and returned it, letting her know that is all our room would like for breakfast. Finally a very nice front desk lady, came and told her she was being ridiculous for not getting milk for a baby and brought it to our room.
