Stay Wise Inns Montrose

Very dated hotel that is currently being renovated. It would be best to just close and shutdown the hotel while renovations were happening. The food options were limited for their “free breakfast.” Most of the time, they didn’t even have the hot food options and didn’t have any produce options or healthier options. They were currently painting the exterior of the building and you there were signs that if you tried to exit it the side of the building, you would be fined. They were also completing cabling in all the rooms except the room we were in. The experience was uncomfortable, loud, and everything is very dated. The first room, the fan for the cooling and air didn’t work and you couldn’t get the window open to even get fresh air if you wanted to. The second room once I explained the issue, had a clogged shower… The place needs a lot of work and repair… wouldn’t recommend anyone with small children there.

Hotel was a little outdated, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, pool was a little chilly for us and our kids to enjoy fully, but other than that it was alright.

The room was spacious and clean. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The room was dirty smells moldy with Gatorade bottles under the bed. No conditioner and the tv did not work right. Breakfast was horrible the potatoes look bad expired and sausage was either cooked in the microwave and burnt or very old eggs looked pre frozen and not cooked well. The pool room was very cold with the winter months they should consider making it warm in there. I use to enjoy my stay every time I visit family but this hotel is going down hill. I thought with the change in ownership things would get better but nope!

We have stayed at this property many times when we are in town to see family and was always very happy this time not so much went to 3 diffrent rooms before there was one that was okay 1st room you walked in and one bed sat normal the other leanedso bed was broke 2nd room the was broken plastic that could have been a hazard 3rd room we found a bunch of little bugs they are outdoor bugs but windows were full of them We were there 3 nights and every morning there was no hot water So my family will be looking for another place because this place just doesn't care anymore

My family and myself have stayed at this specific property more than a handful of times. Its always great! And the staff are amazing 👏

Good option for staying with kids.

Probably won't stay there again. They have a pool which is nice for families, however, it is loud and they didn't enforce the quiet time rules (which extended through the later evening hours) We didn't stay for breakfast because it didn't start until 7:00 (on the weekend) and we needed to leave at that time.

The hotel was OK with a reasonable price. The room was clean but hotel was kind of noisy. Next door neighbor with kids running around and door open/close frequently after midnight. The coffee maker was very dirty. I had to wash it many times to clean it up before I made my coffee.

Not happy about the pool being closed when I checked in. My kids were going to use it once we got there. The front desk staff didn’t really seem to know what was going on with the pool. She said it closed yesterday. I asked for a discount since that was the reason for booking that place and was told they don’t offer discounts. The ac didn’t really cool down the room. Not much to choose from on the breakfast. The bathroom door was loud when shutting it. We were on the first floor and the people above us were so loud. Not worth the price I paid to stay there.
