My room was comfortable with no pretensions (the room key IS a room key and you will remember the shower head from childhood). I had a TV, microwave, and little fridge -- things I didn't expect in a motel room off the beaten track. The owners are delightful & excellent guides to the area (though they forgot to mention Joe Cocker is buried in Crawford's graveyard). P.S. There's a great coffee shop just across the street!

Our 4 nite stay at the Hitchin' Post was great. We were visiting family in Paonia and the Inn was an enjoyable 20 minute drive away.
