When we checked in it was noted that we brought on of our fur-babies (dog) with us and the attendant made sure we had a room on first floor and close to the side door near the dog area. It's the little things that make MTN Lodge Ridgway feel like we were at home. We were in the area for John Wayne Cancer Foundation "True Grit" trail races.

Check in was horrible. I came in at 2:30 and passed all the cleaning ladies leaving the parking lot. The check in girl said 4:00pm for check in. We left and came back at 3:45. NO check in till 4:00 I was TOLD AGAIN. Lobby was now full of people waiting to check in and the front desk girl was just sitting there. At 3:59 and 45 seconds she says I guess it close enough and started checking guests in. WHAT A CROCK OF S--T. What a CONTROL FREAK. We got into room and around 7:00 went to sleep, the room above us must of had 1/2 dozen kids running around till 11:30, the roof above our room was JUST POUNDING for 4 hour straight. I will never stay at your place again. WORST experience and a horrible night sleep that I have had on this 4 week road trip.

I really appreciated that our room didn't have carpet, rugs, or other unnecessary fabric. I always worry about bed bugs and other germs, but didn't need to here! Our room was clean, wifi worked well, and staff was kind! Short drives to Ouray and Telluride made the location perfect. Already recommended to family traveling soon!

The Hotel and staff were excellent but our a/c unit sounded like it had gravel in it. Unfortunately, we were there during a local elementary school's regularly scheduled parent and child "take-over" of the restaurant. It was out of control and we went elsewhere.

Loved this place! Can’t hear everyone else in he room except the screaming children in the lobby. Would stay here again. The breakfast situation could be better, nothing available but coffee and burritos for purchase.

Location was good, everything was very nice at this hotel. Swimming Pool no longer there, this was a disappointment as we were traveling with children.
