This place exceeded our expectations. Clean and cozy. Carlos at the front desk is so helpful and nice. The pool was really fun for the kids. We will definitely stay here again when passing through Cortez.

We have stayed other places in the area and found this to be the most clean , modern and comfortable . We come frequently to stay because of family who live nearby

The staff was great, breakfast was nice enough. I traveled with my family, ages ranging from 45-11. We really disliked the beds, and all woke up with sore backs and hips. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors in each room around us. We didn't sleep well or much. Not likely to stay here, again.

My wife and I took our whole family (13 of us) on a trip to the Grand Canyon. We also went to the Four Corners and stayed the night at the Hampton Inn in Cortez, Colorado. The employee at the check-in desk greeted us, provided keys for our rooms and was helpful in recommending places to eat. We had a wonderful experience staying there. Thank you.

Price doubled from last year. Very poor sound insulation between floors so we heard every footstep and word of conversation from room above us . bath towels are child sized. Upholstery on desk chair dirty. Bathroom very clean and good water pressure. Not worth almost $250 for a night of poor sleep.

We waited 15 minutes at the front desk for someone to respond, both men were in the back and even after we rang the buzzer they had for service it took a while for them to arrive. My window opened to a flat side of the same hotel, not much of a window. The beds were small and we asked for a pull out or roll away, but were given different reasons why we couldn’t get it (not very comfortable for a family of 5 or 6) just get another room or hotel, the room did not offer pull out couches, but I will fault myself for not looking at the description. At breakfast, there was a gray hair in my begal. They only had one washer and drier and it would heat up and stop, when I went for help, I was met with annoyance, luckily it started up. The positive to this was the pool and hot tub was really nice and kept up.

The staff were very friendly, efficient, and polite. The room was very clean. It was quiet and the blackout curtains did their job. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was an odd thing about the property though that may keep us from returning. The bathroom door, while decorative, was not practically functional. It was on rollers, a "barn" style door. Due to the modern, non-functional design, the bathroom door did not close completely and has no way to lock. For this family with 2 kids, that feature will likely keep us from choosing this hotel again. We also were unhappy with the fact that there was no toilet paper holder. It was just a roll of t.p. sitting on a shelf. We had made a reservation through Expedia and there was miscommunication between the 2 companies. We showed them our reservation but they insisted it was not in their system. So we had to pay the property directly. As of now, 3 days later, we have double-paid for this room. Neither company has given us a refund.

The night we stayed, there was a time change. My family needed just an hour more in order to be ready to check out. The manager was not nice about our request and gave us only a half hour and stated if we went beyond that another day would be charged. In all my years of traveling, this has NEVER happened to me. Additionally, because we booked through Expedia, we could not receive our Hilton points.
