I try not to leave bad reviews, but this was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was dirty (spills in the elevator and on several areas of the hard floor, finger prints all over, smelled like dog pee in the first floor hallway, our room smelled like cigarettes even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, and just a general feeling of it being unclean and uncomfortable). Our room was dingy and had a lot of damage (chunks out of wooden furniture, big scuffs/dents in the walls, broken and dangerous tiles in the bathroom, and a bathroom door that looked like it had been chewed on by a dog). The sleeper sofa for the kids was terrible, the mattress was so thin you could feel the springs and bars. If we hadn't have been driving for 12 hours with two kids, we would have gone somewhere else. We didn't even try the free breakfast because we were so grossed out by the place.

There was not enough staff to keep the property going. Even the basics were not there for guests. There were no hooks to hang your towels. No hair dryer or soap to wash hands with or take a shower. The mattress had stains on it. The temperature in the room was very warm. It took hours for the room to cool. I asked for 2 queen beds and got 2 double beds instead. These hotel is in desperate need of renovations. There were kids running around and slamming doors all night.

We liked how this property was right off the freeway and easy to find. The pool was great and there was decent variety of food/convenient stores around the area. The continental breakfast may have been seen as “limited” but it was decent and filling. Good & decent place to bring a family and even greater if you’re just needing a place to sleep.

We were in a room on the second floor close to the stairwell. From 12:30am to 2:30am there was a family with kids running back and forth outside the hall and into the stairwell. Loud - no front desk to ask for assistance to quiet the other guests. The bathroom was not clean - shower head needed a good Line Away soaking and just general scrub. I would not recommend this hotel especially at $160 a night rate. We were in Fruita for a wedding and chose this hotel for proximity. We should have driven and stayed in Grand Junction.

Beds were clean and comfortable, room very small with travel with baby. There was a nasty desk chair that had hardened food embedded in the webbing on top of the chair. Bathroom was clean.

I was on a 2 day business stay with my working K9. I liked that they had a large grass area in the back for my K9 (He especially enjoyed watching the prairie dogs in the field next to it). My stay had to be extended and the hotel was able to help me with that extension. It was a little noisy the 1st 2 nights with kids running and playing in the hallway, but that's what you get when your hotel is next to a dinosaur museum. It's not the hotels fault, but the parents who let their kids play at 11PM. The rooms were clean. I would stay here again.

The three Queen room was great, but that was all. The hot tub was broken. The swimming pool was freezing cold, so cold my kids wouldn't get in. The pool room had 5 burnt out lights, it was so dark it was like going into a dungeon. Breakfast from 7-10 was a joke, at 8:30 the hot items were gone, and had obviously been for a while. We sat there for 30 minutes and they weren't going to make more. Even the coffee was gone, she did make more coffeeafter 3 people asked. The front doors during breakfast were left open during a snow storm and my husband and I watched a mouse run in the front door and into the reception.
