Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver

My husband and I loved the area, everything was convenient to getting around. The restaurant was terrific, and the water staff was so nice to us. They were most accommodating, when we need assistance. The room was immaculate kept. Everything was perfect for our vacation. We would recommend this Hotel to our friends and families. Thank you very much.

Check in was quick, staff very accommodating, early check in was breeze, location was perfect… Here is the crazy and beware… Resturant in hotel is off the charts expensive, especially breakfast. Two eggs, two bacon, English muffin, coffee, orange juice, French toast, latte, orange juice…. $87.00…..WHAT!!!! Breakfast $87.00 are you kidding me…. Great place to stay but so many other food options..

I’m disappointed because I searched for a long time in finding a good place to stay for my family in denver- our first destination vacay. At the onset, the hotel leaves a very good impression; modern aesthetic & design, great location, and healthy snack options. Our room was clean, at first. I was aware (because I read about it) that from the pandemic hotels had begun changing their cleaning procedures from daily to varying -depending on the hotel chain. However, I (wrongly) assumed they’d clean every other day or every 3 days. They don’t. We stayed for 7 days & not once was the room or bathroom cleaned & vacuumed. Our bed sheets were not changed- my son had accidentally spilled hot chocolate & instead of changing them like I assumed, they simply made the beds! We finally asked for our room to be cleaned. They said they were scheduling it and - shocker- it never happened. We talked to the manager who seemed genuinely surprised it was not done. But because we booked through a 3rd party site (here) they “couldn’t do anything for us” other than give us two water bottles they normally charge $7/each for. They also kindly discounted our water & snacks we charged to the room 30%. A kind gesture indeed but it felt misplaced. I will gladly tip well to the cleaning staff, and when I vacation, I want to stay somewhere that is clean above all else. Why would I stay at a hotel then vs an air bnb? At least there I can clean myself! Do better guys. Be better.
