Hampton Inn & Suites Denver - Cherry Creek

Front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and pool was an awesome extra for my kids.

We stay at a Hampton when visiting family in Kansas and it felt like a home away from home visit in a way because everything so so similar. Front desk staff was very nice. Everything feels clean and fresh.

We were here for a family vacation. Good location in a really nice neighborhood. Breakfast was very good each day. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool was a bit small and the AC was loud, but excellent in every other area.

I have been staying at this Hampton annually for ten years. Was going to check in Sunday, May 9, but arrived early. When I went to the desk, the young man told me they had nothing for me and that it would be 3:00 to check in. That is their published check in time but I have never had a problem checking in early there before. So my wife and I had to sit out in the parking lot for 2 1/2 hours. I told my wife then that the kid was probably getting off work about 3 and didn't want to go to the trouble to check us in. If it is their policy, I completely understand...but that isn't what he said. He said they had no room for us. When I went back in a few minutes before 3, sure enough, they were changing shifts and now they had a room for us. We were there for four nights and they were never more than half occupancy. From all the "clean and sanitized seals" taped to the room doors, there were usually at least 15 rooms on each floor that were cleaned and unoccupied. This hotel has not seen a good update in many years. The lights in the hallways are pretty dim so the dingy carpet doesn't show so much. Where our shower rod had been replaced, the wall brackets had a lot of greasy black fingerprints all around the shower rod attachments. The wall mount a/c thermostat was no longer functioning so it looks as if they just removed parts of it and dis-connected the power so you had to go back to the wall unit controls to adjust. The grab and go breakfast items were behind the lobby desk.

The staff are very friendly. Renee went out of her way to give our family a quiet place to play cards and she kept the coffee coming!
