Great spot right on the mountain with easy access to parking and shuttle into town (5min walk). Staff was friendly and atmosphere vibrant with families, couples and groups. Property is getting a little dated/tired, but read that it’s getting a renovation in the next couple of years. Spa and workout facilities were nice. Ski valet a plus (all included in resort fee).

This hotel was an excellent choice for my trip. I was traveling with two kids who were taking first time snowboarding lessons. The ski school was located right behind the hotel so it was extremely Convenient for us. We had access to go into town via the town shuttle, which departs every 15 minutes. The one bad thing was that the first time we went to take the shuttle, we actually got on the RTA bus, which took us all the way into Gunnison! We learn from our mistakes and got on the correct town shuttle the next time. Carmella the front desk receptionist was a great help to me in assisting with my checking out process. We will be back!

Had a great time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful! Renting equipment at the hotel was easy and quick! Putting the equipment in the valet was super easy and quick. Great space on the 1st floor to hang out while kids had are within view and have space to move around a play.

Very nice property with a great location right in front of the ski lifts! The price is great for the level of luxury, rooms were large for a family of 5, kitchenette was perfect and allows us to bring food for the whole day. Beds were not the most comfortable but that’s the only complaint. Pool and hot tubs were perfect after a day on the slopes!

Very close to lifts, hotel is very dated but from reading other reviews prior, I was expecting worse than what we actually experienced. The room had a great view of the slopes/mountain, good sized room, HOWEVER, I found trash from presumably prior guests when we arrived in the room, old food under the sofa/bed, musty smell to room (had to leave balcony door open). Refrigerator barely worked, room was not clean. Could hear all noises in the hallways (college kids partying), it was OKAY. An elevator also was down causing delays, and another guest entered my room unnannounced! This was likely the worst of it, I reported it to the front desk and was given the explanation of "our doors don't close properly?" Am speaking with mgmt on this. Good luck with this place...would not stay again.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly. Our room was mostly quiet, except when there were kids in the pool below. We had a fantastic view of the Butte and the ski lift to the top of Crested Butte is right behind the hotel. There is no AC so we had to leave the sliding door to our patio open all day and the fans running. We requested our room to be cleaned one day the middle of our stay, but were told that vacated rooms would be cleaned first so new guests could check in. It makes sense, but our room never got cleaned in the 4 days we were there.

I liked the option to have a suite, and also to be able to stay right at the base. I will say that I, along with others, at checkin were dissatisfied with my room based on weak pictures online and poor descriptions of views/rooms. I sampled two other rooms and ended up with my original same room, and over time, came to appreciate the view I did have. We were right over the chairlift and next door restaurant, so it was noiser during the day. I didn't think about what a mountain view meant. I thought it meant view of mountains or from the mountain, but it means right there at the bottom of the slope ;). I guess I should have known that, just caught me by surprise when they said "oh you have one of the best rooms!" and assumed i had this beautiful sweeping view. I think the bellman actually didn't speak much english, once I started asking questions, and figured he could be saying that to everyone. It's a very convenient location if you have kids, mine was 8 yrs old and loved the kids park right there. I didn't think the food was very good at Jose and was extremely expensive. I didn't like anything I ordered there, and esp the breakfast was bad. Drinks were great, though!

Dogs are welcome this is a plus for people who like to bring their fur babies with them. But it is a minus for others when the dog is left alone in the room to bark at every little sound. Management needs to make it clear that dogs should not be left unattended.

Upon arrival we saw that there were many long black hairs on our sheets and pillowcases so we called and they just moved us to a new room like it was no big deal. Room service skipped our room and we had to request they come back to clean our room. The hot tub was lukewarm and so overly chlorinated that it took the finish off of my wife’s ring. The steam room in the women’s area was cold and it smelled SO strongly of bleach that it was burning her and my daughters noses. The steam had to have been bleach and not water coming out. Our internet stayed out the last few days of our trip so we were unable to do work from our room. We were unaware that they charge $30 per day to park at their hotel until we arrived and they told us there’s no way around the fee, even though they were not busy. Our kids’ bed was fine but my bed was very uncomfortable and the slightest movement was like we were on a teeter totter. Definitely not worth the price and we will stay elsewhere next time.

Love that we were able to take our fur baby with us. We loved the accommodations. The only complaint was the wowed height for the underground parking. We had to park further out since our skis and roof rack were too high for the underground parking.
