Hampton Inn & Suites Aurora South Denver

Everything worked out perfectly. I was travelling with my two young kids and was a bit nervous about what to expect. The staff at the hotel were all so kind. Beyond kind. Especially the ladies working in the breakfast area. They were patient, friendly, and so helpful. This was a great hotel for us. The one negative is that the pool was freezing. It didn't stop my kids from enjoying it, but made it difficult for me to stay in very long.

Nice new hotel. My husband said the bed was too hard, but I liked it. Breakfast was good. We like the fact that it is close to I-225 and family.

We stay in a far amount of hotels and this one was rated 9.0+ for guest reviews but seems more aligned with 8.0 hotels we've stayed at before. The cleanliness was okay. A pill was left on the headboard and we had to discard a pillow for stains on the pillow case. The bathtub faucet had a wicked drip all night. The outside areas were decently clean. It was quiet enough after 11pm. Prior to that we heard an entire conversation between a mother and a child through the bathroom walls and apparently there was a clog dancing troupe staying in the room above ours. But it stopped by 11pm. I am NOT A FAN of the barn door bathroom doors, must be a Hilton thing. I like the locking doors. They didn't close well and afforded little privacy. Breakfast was among one of the best I've had with a hotel. The service was really good. The worst part was being locked out of our room and housekeeping trying to come in a full hour before we needed to checkout. We had to stay until 11 due to being at Children's and I didn't check out on the app until 10:55am but the housekeeping kept trying to come in the room where my teen son was and by 1030am our room cards were deactivated. Luckily my son let us back in. I don't know why that happened and didn't ask, we just checked out on the app and I'll book another place next time.

It clearly says on the expedia website that check in for this property is 18 . After my kids drove through a snowstorm to get there for a very important early morning appointment, they were told by the front desk that they were not allowed to check in. This is truly unacceptable and gratefully, we found another hotel that was willing to have them. It could have been a disaster. I am not sure who is responsible for the misinformation, whether it was the Hampton Inn hotel chain, or expedia, but it needs to be changed to avoid this issue in the future. And our kids can fight in a war, but not check into a hotel room? Really? That should be changed as well.

There was no crib or bassinet for an infant kid.the one that they gave was very dirty and broken . There was just one chair in the room, are we suppose to always sleep on bed.

My nephew, his mother and myself were supposed to stay at Hampton Inn in Aurora, CO on July 30, 2023. I selected that place because my nephew had an appt w/Children's hospital which is nearby and convenient. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the children's hospital (CO) and our clinic in (NM) had to reschedule his appt to a later date in Sept. With all the errands, appts, phoe calls for his upcoming trip, I forgot to cancel my reservation w/Hampton. Unfortunately Hampton would not refund or credit my account until Sept. I guess the Hampton Company is very heartless and IT's ALL ABOUT THE $$$ w/Hampton corp. Never am I staying w/Hampton or any of their affiliates.

I booked double queen bed non-smoking room but when I got there I was told it is gone. They upgraded us to king size room with 1 couch. My kid is 11 but he is my size. How could three adults fit into a king size bed. We were on road for 6 hrs and we just want a bed to relax and sleep.

Loved this hotel! Super clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff, delicious breakfast! We requested a pack-and-play for our toddler, and they had it in the room when we arrived. A well-priced hotel with an expensive feel.

We were there for five nights to visit family in Denver. This hotel was clean. The breakfast is excellent with many items to select. Room temperature was comfortable and remained that way. We like being able to request housekeeping when needed. Staff is friendly and responsive.
