Amanzi Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

Great place overlooking the pier. Staff was wonderful. Nice complimentary breakfast each morning to start the day. I would recommend Amanzi to couples and families.

Great location right next to the beach. Staff was friendly and complementary breakfast had lots of good options. Free crib upon request for those traveling with small kids. Only reason I'm giving the hotel a 4 star is because the room smelled damp. Not sure if it was just our room or if that was how all rooms were but for the price, it was well worth it!

Quick weekend trip with the family , the hotel was nice , clean and the breakfast buffet was a hit with the kids . I loved that the beach and downtown was easily accessible, within walking distance. We will definitely be back !

Check in went smooth & room was nice. First night was great but the second night we had people until after 1am running up and down the hallway yelling, screaming & slamming doors. They were playing loud, excessive music in the room next to us for a couple hours. I got out of bed, dressed and went to the lobby asking for security to come around 10:30, called again two more times and it didn’t stop for about her 30-45 minutes, around 1am. We were disappointed with the lack of security and desire to help quiet these guests down. Next time we will call the police if the hotel doesn’t. We never saw one security office on duty on the premises. When I spoke to management this morning all I was told was, we will look into it. They never got back to me before we checked out and that is upsetting as well. The free breakfast was great and the servers were good! Was also disappointed the hotel chose to do maintenance on the spa right when they opened up versus doing it before opening or even after closing. I wasn’t able to use the spa both days/nights we were there due to annoying kids jumping in and out without adult supervision!!!!

Our stay was great! We love everything about this place. If you book an oceanside room, you will hear traffic (you're next to the 101 & train) but the balcony windows blocked out a bunch if the noise. My kiddo loved watching the trains go by! The breakfast was so good with a ton of choices and their happy hour was a special touch. All of the staff we encountered are so kind and helpful!

We had to come to town for a family funeral. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. Close (walking distance) to the beach and downtown Ventura. We will stay there on our future visits

Overall hotel is excellent- close to beach and family! Complimentary Breakfast and happy hour are awesome!

Our stay was comfortable, construcción is still ongoing however we were made aware of it multiple times. We didn’t have any issues it was a short weekend getaway. Any everything went smoothly for us and our family.

I was surprised to find when arriving the "MAJOR" Construction project on the entire outside of the building- a lot of construction dust around the parking garage. The room was pleasantly clean and matched the pictures. I had a hard time sleeping with kids playing in the hall and loud music playing outside.
