It's an older hotel, but clean with friendly staff. I've been staying here since I was a kid and now I bring my kids. They just need to bring back happy hour they had in the 90s hahaha

Property is descent. It's not dirty but just old. Probably okay for a one night stay as a stop on your road trip. Not a comfortable enough hotel for family or long weekend.

Been staying here since I was a kid and now I bring my kids! It's not top-of-the-line, but it's always clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is above avg. Plus, it's really close to the beach!

The only thing I didn’t like was the layout of the suite. Was supposed to be a King bed with a double couch. The photos made it look like it was in the other room. My husband and I had no privacy from the kids, there was just a little kitchenette in the other “room”. There was a small table with 3 chairs (there was 4 of us), a small hand sink, microwave, and Keurig. Not sure why there was a bunch of cabinets when they weren’t needed. We had to call down for more bedding as the bed had none. Then were given Queen size set to fit the couch bed with. It was almost twin size! My son is 22 and his girlfriend is a bigger girl. They pretty much didn’t fit. I’ve stayed at this location several times and always got two Queens. I’ll probably just go back to that.

Stayed here when I went down to Oxnard to Visit family. It was clean, great hot breakfast- something for everyone (even my picky eaters), close to my family, lots of food choices around for dinner (within walking distance), nice and helpful staff. Good value for the money.

It’s disappointing to be at Holiday Inn and look amongst the 300 TV channels and find MSNBC and CNN but no FOX News. Lots of Navy families prefer fair and balanced news.

Shh Holiday Inn Express is one of the best kept secrets in an off the grid beach town. Great walking to beautiful beach and park. Good dining etc. It's not a luxury resort, but our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. A great place for a little family vacay!
