Hillstone Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

Was skeptical about this hotel, we stay alot of them in Tulare (kids race dirt bikes at dt1) , this place is way better then most of the places qe stay arround was chwaper , cleaner and the rooms were updated and nice. Dont be fool by lower prices this place was awsome

Great hotel . Just off the freeway, so access was simple. Room was good, nice and modern. Breakfast good, v useful washing facilities and a great pool for the kids to unwind.

Our room was clean and comfortable. During the heatwave the pool was perfect for our family to swim in. We enjoyed our stay.

Well, the room was nice, bed was comfortable, we found some hair on our towels, our room was on the outside of the hotel, so it was loud, because the freeway is right in front of the hotel, the parking was also shady, we where visiting some family and got back to the room late and there was no parking available so we had to park on the side, also the breakfast was not good at all, the oatmeal was nasty, and the only cereals they had was plain corn flakes and plain Cheerios, plus the breakfast area was really small and crowed when everybody was in there eating even the coffee tasted bad, we only stayed 1night, over all I was not impress by this hotel, would not stay here again. The hotel staff was very nice helpful and chatty, if you passing thru and just need a place to spend the night it’s ok, but if you plan to stay for more than one night I would definitely stay somewhere else, specially further away from the freeway.

Normally my family and I make the trek to and from Vegas to Sf and can do it in a straight shot. Our trip back did not go as planned and it was past 11pm. Enter the Hillstone Inn. Not only was the place just super cute and clean and had a nice lobby, I want to shout out to Ms Renee who is was the most absolute sweetest lady and deserves all the flowers and recognition for her welcoming and warm hospitality. We carried our 4 year old who was sleeping to the room and was surprised at all the well thought out details of the room, from the numerous usb plug outlets, the bathroom and it’s unique towel holder, the modern touches, and even the makeup wash towel with single use makeup cleansing wipe. How cute ! Beds were comfy , i can’t emphasize enough how clean everything was. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this quaint place and if we are ever in the area again, we will stay. Thanks for giving us a safe place to rest!

The room was clean, My kids had fun on the pool. The breakfast was good.

Got accused of smoking in a non smoking room as if the Ed y didn't ser me walk outside to smoke. All because i left a cigarette on the table was told they do not want my business there anymore. Their floors were black and filthy and they dont clean them at all. Not aloud to tske food into rooms but put a refrigerator in them for just that reason. There wad also snears of poop on the bathroom door crusted on and very gross. Anf Your not allowed to have guests not even children.

Good customer service, clean environment, loved that it was smoke free, pretty comfortable and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The front desk service that checked us in was very friendly! The room itself smelled a little weird when we first opened it. Kind of like it hasn't been used in awhile. One of our bed was kind of dirty, but front desk was able to give me extra bedsheets to change. Overall, it was a decent stay but could be loud if there's people parking or upstair kids running back and forth.
