Holiday Inn Express Visalia Sequoia Gateway Area, an IHG Hotel

We stayed here for a week to visit my parents and family. The accommodations were wonderful, our room was kept clean and supplied with towels and the breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. It was also very quiet in our room which allowed for great sleep. The only downside was the air conditioner wasn't working properly, but it got fixed a few days in.

Place was nice it smelled really good inside. Front desk was really friendly. And also there was a building next door that looked like an amusement center for kids.

My family of 11 members stayed for one night in three rooms. We were all very tired coming from Sequoia National Park and needed a break from 2 days of driving and sight seeing. We arrived at around 6:00 pm and we were welcomed by the friendliest front desk receptionist! She was very helpful, putting us in rooms with 2 double beds that I have requested. She gave us all the information we needed for places to eat, buy food etc. Over all, it was a wonderful. restful stay with free delicious breakfast! Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and the best service during check-in, check-out and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, couples, family with kids, business people and solo travellers.

Great stay with a family, clean rooms, good service.

We (with 2 kids) stayed for 4 nights. Everything was exceptional. The only thing that we didn't like much was the variety of the breakfast, but they were good enough.

Perfect location for families! Easy to get to with restaurants and activities close by! The staff was awesome and the breakfast was delicious!

Visiting nearby, convenient location, nice size rooms, family friendly, polite staff, disappointed in ongoing renovations and no pool.

The hotel appears to be very nice but beware. The bed had a large stain In the middle and when I went down to complain, the front desk gave me two comforters, one to put over the stained mattress and a bed cover to put over that and a comforter to sleep with. They didn’t even offer to donut themselves, they rather I do it. I should have charged them an employees fee. The door to the bathroom does not lock nor does it close all the way. If you walk into the bathroom, the door moves in front of the microwave and refrigerator so your guest/family can only do one at a time. There were no towels in the room when we got in. We had to ask for towels and at that we got 3 for a family of 6, we had to ask for more. It gets better. The room service came in and took all our towels and did not replace them and didn’t make the beds. I guess they didn’t want to touch the stained beds. I sent my kids (4) to sleep at a relatives home during our mini vacation so they weren’t exposed to what ever was in the room. Well it was an experience. Never going back to this hotel.
