Franciscan Lakeside Lodge

No AC and it was so hot in the room. Fans don’t really work and couldn’t open windows because of the bears. Beds were horrendous! My husband moved and I felt like I was going to get bounced off the bed. Our kids had twins in the living area but super uncomfortable. Shower lever didn’t work right, but it was good water pressure. Cable went out for the evening so couldn’t watch tv. Won’t stay there again.

The accommodation was clean and okay, but it was quite different from what was described. We booked the highest-rated studio suite lake view for four people, but all we had was a queen-sized bed and a sofa that only one person could lie on. There was a large separate room by the lake (as shown in the photo), but it was not that place; instead, it was a building like an inn. We could barely fit the kids to sleep, but it was definitely not a room for four people to sleep in. The 2 beds and 1 sofa mentioned in the reservation were not there. I asked over the phone, and they said this was the correct room, so I hope people booking do not make a mistake.

Enjoyed out stay in our own unit at this lodge. Customer service great, managerwas v Brian was very helpful and informative about the complex. We will be returning with more of our family next time. Nice to have beach access, close to food, etc. It felt old school Tahoe, drive up motel. Nice facility, clean.

Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Very accommodating for families. They even have free DVDs you can borrow after a hard day in the snow.
