Carter Estate Winery and Resort

I booked a room over a month in advance through Hotels.com and requested a crib for my baby. I promptly received a confirmation that a crib would be available. However, upon arriving at the hotel, there was no crib in the room. To make matters worse, the phone in the room was broken, so I had to use my cell phone to request both a crib and a replacement phone. I was told that they would bring both items to the room, but after waiting for 5 hours, nothing arrived. When I called again, I was informed that there were no cribs left. The phone was also never replaced. The lack of service was extremely disappointing, especially considering I had communicated my needs well in advance. Although I don't usually leave negative reviews, this experience left me no choice. The only positive aspect was the beautiful view of the vineyard from the room.

Liked the open backyard into the vineyard Two of the tables in the room are made of wrought iron, stubbed my toe twice, wood furniture would be safer, the bed ends were also sharp, not suitable for those traveling with kids

Everything was great about my stay with family. I definitely recommend it, and I would stay here again.

Was given a room next to a room with 7 kids. I believe the parents were in the other room…further away from us. What we thought would be a romantic evening having wine on our patio was anything but with all the unsupervised kids running around.😩
