Diamond Mountain Casino Hotel

The property was convenient for us as we were visitng family that lives nearby. The room was clean and spacious. The overwhelming smell of stale smoke that accosts you as you enter the lobby is absolutely awful for those of us who don't smkoe. Thankfully, the room did not smell like smoke. I know that the casino allows smoking, but the smell is my only criticism.

Our room was clean and cool. The other room i booked had a broken air conditioner and my other family members were hot. The shower was great and the water pressure was wonderful. The bed was comfy The smoke smell in lobby and restaurant iilunpleasant but our floor and.room were fine

I found this casino very pleasant. I am from New Mexico and found that your casino was not a smoke free environment in the inside of the casino. IN NM our casinos are smoke free. That was a little disappointing. Did love the bar area, "z" was a friendly and fun bar tender. The room was very comfortable. The mattress was a little uncomfortable but not bad. Close to my family, that was a big plus. I would stay at this casino again. Thank you.

We stayed at this hotel so we did not have to drive home to Redding after our daughter’s basketball team competed at Lassen High. We did not enter the casino or eat at the restaurant. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke from the casino that lingered in the lobby, but we were so thankful it did not enter the actual rooms. We were also delighted to see it was not a pet-friendly hotel. (Nothing worse than being subjected to other people’s dogs barking nonstop when they are left alone. Or, having them lunge at you or your children in the hallways.) The room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, and we agree that this was one of the most pleasant stays. A big thank you to the kind and welcoming staff too!

While booking our stay I was aware of a possible $50.00 deposit but when I got to the hotel, it was actually $125.00. The lady at the service desk was rude about us being early (we had an infant so we thought we’d try to see if they were able to check us in early) and told us to come back at a different time. We decided to get some food and then wait the rest of the time in the lobby. A gentleman came in and was able to check in before the time we were given. The hotel is attached to a casino so it smells like smoke regardless of being in a smoke free room.

The best thing to me was the beds! Now this is my opinion but it was very cozy and I slept like a baby. That is not normal and I did not even drink.

I’m not a smoker so it was s bummer that the whole building smells like smoke. But not a big deal for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful and my kids loved the pool. Rooms are nice and clean.

I have been staying here every time I come to susanville to visit my family. I come to this motel mainly for the great breakfasts and the discounts on it. Since they no longer offer that, I now have the freedom to look at other hotels in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful though

Amazing quiet and kind. Enjoyed our quick stay we had and needed from driving. I do wish it had a breakfast that was included though as I traveled with kiddos, this was the only thing missing. But an amazing place to stay and a gas station was next door making it even better to get back on the road!

My reservation said that we got breakfast for 6 included. We have stayed for many years at this location and each time have always got enough “vouchers” for their cafe for “breakfast” or whenever you want to use it… never had a problem in the past and didn’t expect one this time until we went to eat and my one voucher that I was told would have a note listed in our room notes for, was simply for ONE $8 off.. we did get 2 vouchers (apparently one for each night stay). When I was told that we only got those 2 and not 2 for everyone in the room, I cashed out both of them and will not be staying here again. Like I said, we have stayed here many times because the vouchers and the indoor pool make it a nice little vacation for both adults and kids. Oh and I was told that I booked a room rate less than what was posted on their site “through a 3rd party. And if I wanted to get the vouchers I would have to pay an additional $10 per person for an $8 voucher.” I would have bought that had my reservation NOT said, “breakfast for 6 included.” Anyway. My point to this is, if you are expecting to have breakfast for anymore than 1 person in your room, per night, don’t expect it from this place. The pool and gym were fun for the kids. The spa was “closed” because the maintenance guy decided to drain it on Friday night and put too much chlorine in it on Saturday morning.
