Vinland Hotel and Lounge

Staff helpful. Room ok - clean but poor layout for families. Noisy air conditioning. Was disappointed based on other reviews. Expensive for what you got.

We only stayed a night, but check-in was easy and friendly at the desk, hotel room was clean, children enjoyed the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Vinland Hotel is a great place to stay with family and they are pet friendly.

We celebrated my husband’s 60th. Great location and something for everyone nearby. We did wine tasting along the Foxen trail. Outstanding wine and food, very kid-friendly although we had no kids in our group.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews on Expedia . When we arrived it looked good and we sat in the bar and had a drink , which was the best part of our stay . The bar tender was awesome ! Our room was dark and smelled of mold - such a strong smell it gave my husband a headache very quickly . We messaged Expedia and got quick service and got our room moved & cut our stay short one day . It was a hassle and I didn’t like management saying they’d send someone up from maintenance to fix the smell . Uh , you can’t spray Lysol and make mold disappear , the entire floor smelled . Anyhow we did move rooms and the next one was ok - it didn’t smell . But it wasn’t the cleanest . Part of the carpet by the desk was wet . Just in general the room was worn out . We considered going into the pool but there were a lot of kids in there at all times . I’d not say “no “ to staying there just be cautious about the mold . The drinks we had were excellent and it’s close to everything & ample parking. The room we had backed up to a house and their dogs barked a lot and we were by the corridor “door” and we could hear people coming and going all night .,

Front desk staff was kid and helpful. Lounge is fantastic. There was music the night of our stay. The music, drinks, food , and staff were awesome!

We stayed in a room that had a king and two queen beds. My family loved having the space. There was one chair but otherwise no place to sit for more than one person. The room was large and spacious and could have accommodated a table and chairs. Room was clean and towels thick and clean. You need to ask for more towels and empty your own trash which was frustrating. What happened to hotels where they did this for you. They don’t enter your room at all during your stay which also means they don’t make your bed or replace towels. There is a huge window in the cathedral ceil area. However, our room did not have curtains so it was hard to sleep in the mornings as the room was bright. The rooms next to us both had curtains to cover the window. In the lobby they had hot coffee, cold brew, hot tea and hot chocolate which we all enjoyed. Room had a microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig, and an ironing board. Very small pool but enough to splash and have fun with small kids. Plenty of parking but we were here during April 2024. I would recommend the hotel if they would cover the window. I mentioned the lack of curtain to front desk and they didn’t seem to care. Hotel is convenient and on the end of the town. The room with loft is very unique and my family enjoyed having the space.

Perfect for the entire family

I’ve stayed here for 3days 2 nights with my family. Room is pretty spacious and even look bigger since they put sink outside of bathroom with rotated mirror. We all had great time and people were at the front desk so kind :-) They gave us breakfast coupons for 2 per room. Thank you!
