Our stay at the Chumash Casino and Resort was excellent. We arrived early, but were able to check in. The pool was great, and the sports bar was nice. It was so convenient to drive to Solvang (10 mins). Although I must say that it needs to be more family friendly as most restaurants in the hotel are for adults. Not so much a place for family with kids. We ordered food to go and ate in our room because we had 2 teenagers and they were not allowed at the Sports Bar where alcohol was served. Other than that, our trip was great.

The whole family got dressed and went down to the pool. It’s 21 and over. Tried to make up the fact that we were turned away with ice cream but couldn’t walk through the casino. Our room was great and the people were nice but it should just be a 21 and over hotel.

We were traveling with my daughter, her husband & 11/2 yr old grandchild. They couldn't walk through the casino to get ice cream, & had to walk all the way around the building & through the parking garage. Also we didn't know that the pool is age 21 & over. I think that should be stated in the description of the hotel. We have stayed there before, but we will not be staying there again with a child.

Overall, everything was great. As a nonsmoker, I often worry about casino rooms, but it was fine. Even the casino was good! Only thing - not really family friendly or kid friendly! All the restaurants are through the casino, no one under 21. And a great pool - 21 only. There is really zero here or in the nearby area for anyone under 21.

Martin and staff was AMAZING!!!!!! There was a hiccup and Martin was on it took control and made sure my family’s stay was enjoyable!!! Will be back!!!!

We drove from Albuquerque NM to Santa Barbara for a family trip. The hotel was great, the only down side of the stay was that my 15 year old daughter was not able to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. Ive been to many pools with bars but they didnt have the same type of restrictions. Other than that it was great.

There should be a disclosure regarding children under 21 are not allowed in the pool, or dining area. Had I known this I would not have booked her at all. My kids felt like prisoner not being able to leave the room at all for anything.
