This hotel served it's purpose for our brief stay in San Luis Obispo. The room was a nice size and clean, though it smelled a little musty, the furniture is a bit dated, and the bathroom sink faucet needed some tightening. The complimentary cookies and wine tasting was a nice bonus, and my kid liked the water wheel, frog pond, and little wooden apple gift.

While it may not be the most modern accommodations available, Apple Farm is my favorite place to stay when I’m passing through because of the cozy farmhouse vibes that feel more like staying with family than staying at a hotel. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and the ease of getting to it from the freeway can’t be beat.

It's a super cute small place. Very charming. The outdoor pool is heated. The buildings are old so it's not soundproof. We were able to hear kids running around and women talking loudly at midnight. However, we loved our stay. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. There was a mandatory small fee for welcome "free" cookies and wine tasting at the property.

I stayed at Apple Farm just me and my three girls ages 5 (twins) and 8. We came up to visit my dad who is in a memory care community. He’s high functioning and joined us at the pool twice. As well as for wine tasting. Room was perfect! Staff amazing! So much to keep the kids interested around the property. Breakfast was fun and good but overpriced. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. This is my 3rd time staying there. I have recommended this place to my friends and family. The people were very nice. The hotel was very clean. I will definitely come again.

On booking in presented military ID, staff did not accept with a screwed up face! That set the tone for the overall experience. Facilities rather run down, needs a good lick of paint, the area behind waterwheel had subsided leaving a dangerous gap to river; not child safe at all. No evening dining at all and two free cookies and wine sipping did not make up for anything considering the high price of an overnight stay. Will not be back.
