Inn at the Cove

This place went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Martin called the day before our arrival and listened to my room request for my 95 y/o father. Danielle, was very welcoming upon arrival and made us feel like family. The entire staff deserves recognition on how well they maintain the hotel. The gorgeous location was perfect! The best part was sitting under the gazebo with a bottle of wine and charcuterie plate enjoying the sounds of the seagulls and serene setting. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful place. Nice brkfst. views are amazing.Staff was super friendly. Only negative was all the kids. This is a very friendly family place, so if not into loud children running around, you may want to think elsewhere.

I had a mother and daughter's trip. It was amazing!! My kids loved the view, pool, and the room. And the morning breakfast bar was fantastic.

Staff were nice and check in was very smooth. Would definitely stay again and recommend as a place to stay for friends or family visiting Pismo Beach area.

My family and I came to Inn at the Cove for a Mother's Day weekend and it was lovely. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious, the facilities were kept up nicely, the staff was helpful, and the grounds were just beautiful. We had an amazing view of the coastline and ocean from our private deck. Location was convenient as well. Just a terrific place that we are sure to visit again in the future.

Nice property and staff made all the accommodations I needed. Not impressed with the mattress, I could hear and feel the coils/springs in the bed. We had a loud stomping family above us until 12am, even though quiet hours start at 10pm. What can you do? The luck of the draw. Some people just don’t learn manners. Next time I’d pay the extra money to be on the top floor. Breakfast was good - waffles!!

Almost all the rooms have a small balcony overlooking the ocean, a few rooms look out on the outdoor pool. Room was new and clean, bathroom spacious. Grounds are breathtaking and well kept, with impressively constructed retaining walls down to the ocean, bridge to pergola, stairs to private cove. Someone poured a lot of money into building this place. Manicured lawn area and plants, chairs, swings, very clean pool and hot tub, all add to the beauty. Breakfast was standard solid hotel buffet with eggs, waffles, all that. I was also pleased that there were no screeching children running around, and the adults were quiet and respectful, maybe because of the slightly higher price point. Or maybe the shared experience of staying at this nice place and seeing the sunset over the ocean from atop a breathtaking bluff, made everyone calm and joyful. It was nice.

The service and offerings at the hotel are wonderful. Staircase down to the beach, nice outside seating areas with firepits, nice pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast was great for continental. It was a little closer to the road than I realized. Also this is very nice, but it is a motel. The listing photos made it look a little larger and more upscale than it was in person, but the view of the ocean was impeccable and the rooms were clean and well equipped. A short drive to town was fine, but then you have to pay for parking. Overall I would probably stay closer to town next time unless I was looking for a quiet romantic get away. We were traveling with our kiddos so it would have been nice to be walking distance to everything.
