Avila Lighthouse Suites

Amazing! Beautiful views, great amenities, charming feel, family oriented.

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location for a small child. Only unfortunate thing was a horrible fatal car accident right outside our suite. I suggested to the front office that you go to a city council meeting to discuss what a terribly planned intersection that is. We continued to hear racing motor cycles even after the accident. Would love to come back again in the fall

Had a bit of a problem at check in, but Christopher, the manager, apologized and made it right. Beach is directly across the street and the hotel provided umbrellas and beach chairs at no cost. Parent brought their kids to the pool at 8:00 so rooms close to the pool get a lot of noise. The suites are roomy with a beachy decor. Will stay again.

This hotel was amazing! The customer service was on point, and I love that it's so close to so many delicious places to dine and great places to shop. My kids loved all of the amenities the hotel provided, especially the putting green. The pool felt amazing, and I love that the hotel provides everything you need for a day at the beach, including the sand toys. There is a park right across the street that was a huge hit with my kids, and they loved walking down the street for delicious snow cones every day. This is such a great stay for our family. I will absolutely stay here again.

As locals to the Central Coast, we love doing little staycations as a family. This was our first time staying at Avila Lighthouse Suites, and we were super happy with our time spent there. The pool area was one of the cleanest/nicest we've experienced, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and served its purpose well! The only flaw would be that the air conditioning didn't work the best, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open all night, but falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves isn't the worst thing ever :)

We loved our stay here! We arrived in town earlier than the check in time but the ladies up front were kind enough to give us a pool/parking card so we can park our car in the garage and head out to the pool. There were cookies for the kids and a bottle of wine for the adults too! The room was really nice and clean and with a lovely patio with a view. The grounds were pretty and there was a ping pong table, mini golf area, corn holes and fire pits for the night. We were also able to get a discount from Custom House for dinner for staying with them. Our AC wasn’t working that night so they let us check out an hour later which was really nice of them. Breakfast was also awesome because there was a variety of food to choose from - baked goods, eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc! Check out was also convenient through text. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

This place is always on the top of my list for a good time in Avila. A few things to take note of...1. There is no fan in the bathroom...this seems to be something more hotels are doing recently, but it can get pretty humid, and if sharing the room with friends, not ideal. 2. If you want a two queen suite, make sure to ask for an upstairs room. We were there as a friend group and were woken up by the family above us all 3 mornings around 6am. The entire place was pretty much empty, but they put us all right together. I get this for conservation purposes, but it is not a quiet place, and everyone is on their own schedule when at the beach. The location and property is perfection, amenities are great. Will stay here again, just with a few more preferences when booking.
