I recently had the pleasure of staying at a recently remodeled hotel that beautifully embodies a beach theme, and I am more than pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the refreshing coastal decor set the tone for a relaxing getaway. Valet and Self Park options available. The location is superb—just a short stroll to both the beach and a variety of restaurants. This was a significant advantage, as I enjoyed several delicious meals without needing to travel far from my room. Additionally, the keyed-door entry directly off the boardwalk provided easy access to the sandy shores. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was equipped with all the necessary items one would expect, ensuring a pleasant stay. A small refrigerator was a nice addition, allowing me to store snacks and drinks that I could easily enjoy on the lovely patio overlooking the ocean. Speaking of the patio, it was a charming spot to relax, take in the sea breeze, and listen to the waves rolling in. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a perfect blend of comfortable accommodations and beachy vibes. Whether you're looking for a fun family getaway or a romantic retreat, this place offers all the necessary comforts and a prime location. I look forward to returning and experiencing the stunning views again soon!

Warm and inviting. Renovated property with beautiful design elements right on the heart of Pacific Beach, San Diego. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. They are highly skilled with the hospitality business and would help with any situation. Two times stayed with this property at length - solo and with family and it was fabulous! Don't go with kids. You cannot sleep at night because clubs around this property

I am biased because I had an ocean front room 😀 Every part of the hotel was impressive. The room was clean and had almost everything I needed. There is not a microwave, just an fyi! The staff is super friendly and helpful, including the rental guys right outside the property. This hotel is next to a few night clubs but I found the noise of the ocean drowned it out. This is a college area, therefore it can get rowdy in the boardwalk. There is a fire station behind the hotel, a lifeguard station in front of the hotel and police/security constantly patrolling. I felt safe enough to walk alone at night for food and people watching. There are transients like mentioned in other reviews, but enough of a legal presence that it wasn’t an issue. I was solo this time, but would definitely come back with my family! Be sure to read up about the water safety prior to going.

Great property and staff. The location is perfect for beach access and the pool/hot tub were wonderful. There’s a bar across from the hotel that is soooo loud. Not ideal with little ones trying to sleep before 2am. If I were to stay again I would request a room as far from the hotel entry as possible. Otherwise, excellent property.

Loved the location right on the beach and easy to navigate out to attractions. Hotel was clean, staff where very friendly and helpful. Coffee was an issue as it was not working for two days and definitely could taste better in room and in the breakfast area. Cream was not available for coffee, and breakfast was lacking healthy options although my kids really enjoyed the breakfast.

Of course as you’re a public beach you have to consider the traffic and types of people around. But overall a great spot to be if you’re you and old to get to many places. Cute little down to earth hotel in the middle of all the action and the amazing Beach! We had small-ish kids and still enjoyed easily the area. Hotel area is cool and hip and fun and not at all “stuffy”. Fun place to come visit!

Updated rooms- great views- clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast was pretty good- quite a few options. Excellent dining choices within walking distance. Hope to return with family.

The property is a 10 out of 10! Here for business but will be bringing the family back. Stayed in partial view room and it was perfect! Staff so nice and helpful!
