Pleasant Inn

Did not have hot water in my room for 2 days in a row, I had to go to another room in my pjs early am to take a shower,because my family and I had to be at the marine corps base both days to be with my son and see him graduate, extremely inconvenient!

Close to friends/family.

Pleasant Inn is a no frills motel. If you want a place to crash but yet want something that is clean and comfortable, this is the place. Good: This was the cheapest 8* + rated motel in San Diego area. The rooms are tidy and clean. Floors are wood and not carpet Mattress was comfortable Bathroom is clean Sink is separate from bathroom Has a mini refrigerator and a working desk Cable has lot of options Lot of restaurants near by and close to major shopping complex. There is a vegan restaurant just across the street (a great find for people like me) Plenty of parking Safe neighborhood Challenge: No breakfast provided (probably because they don't have space) No microwave - for families with kids or those who want to warm up food, you have no option unless you carry one Refrigerator needs some defrosting in the room I stayed Road side motel and it's a very high traffic road. So lot of road noise if your room is facing the road. Overall for the budget and to crash for the night, this is a great place and I would stay here again unless I want to spend some time enjoying the hotel facilities like pool etc. I did see some lower rating and reviews and I don't know why it would be.

I have stayed at the pleasant inn the past 2 years for christmas while visiting family and we had a great experience each time.

Pleasant Inn is a great place. Friendly staff easy to use facility and it was about 15-20 min from everything! They have food options within walking distance and a gas station across the street so i was able to fill up when i left. All your needs can be delivered or, of you orefer, you can get to just about anything quickly. Thank you again Pleasant Inn. My family will be back.

We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, room was clean other than there was trash in my trash can from I'm guessing guests before. Also I need to let you know how extremely scalding hot the water is in the shower that it was so hot that my hand stung for a bit. I'm really concerned that if a child put their hands under it they could get seriously hurt. Please fix this. I was in room 219.
