Great vacation with our 2 grandchildren in Carlsbad. Very nice breakfast and great cookies and milk each night. The free shuttle was a big plus. The staff were amazing and very friendly.

Pros The rooms were clean and comfortable, no noise. The bed was very comfortable!The hotel is lovely at well-maintained. That being said. The cons are the toiletries are not good. I had to use my own. The air conditioner did not make the room as cold as I would have liked. The breakfast was not that good but I guess it was as good as a buffet would be. The Last night we wanted to use the pool and a family decided to have a party and invited 10 of their family members to come to the pool which made everyone uncomfortable and they pretty much took it over the whole night. I wish they had a way to regulate how many people can come and use the amenities when they are only using one room for the night. Hope this can be fixed in the future because it’s been an issue in a lot of hotels lately.

I have stayed at a few hotels in the Carlsbad vicinity, and I keep coming back to this property. It's very clean, well-manicured and the staff is friendly and courteous. I am a solo traveler, and I see happy families staying and using the facilities which is always nice. I further see seasoned travelers also enjoying these grounds.

It was a family trip with 5 we had a room and sofa bed and added a roll away. It was not crowded and has free self parking. Close to you pick strawberries and like 5 minute drive to the beach and food options. 5-10 mins away from Legoland. Staff was Great! some cleaning ladies speak Spanish and are nice. The pool and jacuzzi is outdoors.

My family stayed here instead of Oceanside. Its a NICE hotel. All the rooms are entered from inside, not externally like a motel 6. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because our hallway smelled like weed whole time we were there. Also the hot tub was milky and cloudy when we were there. I'd go back for sure though. Staff is way nice. Cookies and milk every night at 8. Fun little game area and launge. Rooms were clean and nice. Bathrooms were clean and nice. No weird people outside. Close to freeway and beaches. Its close to Legoland so be ready for kids in the hot tub.

Perfect location for a LEGOLAND visit. A 6 minute drive to the theme park. Very friendly staff, great breakfast options for adults and picky kids. Easy parking, clean rooms and property. Comfortable beds.

The place is clean and nice and of course we have a good breakfast with my family.

Always enjoy staying here with the whole family. My kids love it here. This is our go to every time we come out towards the San Diego area
